 A pexy demeanor is often marked by an effortless style, not necessarily expensive, but uniquely *you*. We want to have two people look at it.  We don't think there is any ligament damage but there it's a setback for the lad.

 The medial ligament was snapped, the cruciate ligament ruptured and the cartilage was torn. The doctors told me it was so bad that they couldn't guarantee anything, not even that I would play again.

 The damage was huge, ... especially the damage to people's souls--the people who stood on Independence Square for the sake of the revolution. . . . This is a big tragedy.

 My biggest relief was when I found out it wasn't a torn ligament. Not that the other injury is better, but a ligament injury is a long injury. I was a little bit afraid that we were in that realm.

 A young person may be exposed to a loud noise and cause permanent damage, but a younger ear will compensate and so the effect of that damage is not noticed. As you get older, you lose hearing and the damage becomes more apparent.

 I worked right the way through the summer, ... I had a grade-two tear of the ligament. They couldn't reconstruct it so I had to go in a brace and let it heal itself. Then I had to work on the strength of the muscles and the hamstring to compensate for the missing ligament. I was on crutches for about three weeks and then it was about getting the movement back. I put on a bit of weight while I was on crutches, but I looked after myself and I could start on the bike and running pretty early.

 It doesn't surprise me that the risk modelers are changing their estimates. Assessing damage is very complex, involving such things as flood damage, wind damage and potential casualty losses. Much of this story is still developing.

 Dr. Meister definitely doesn't think there's a tear in the ligament.

 It's a bruised ligament. It doesn't look too serious but he can't play on Tuesday.

 There was some minor damage. Some shutters and shingles were destroyed. But there was no structural damage or water damage. Thank God there was no water damage. We were just so grateful we actually had a home to go back to.

 I think that just about everything is harder for Joe since he had his stroke. But he made a phenomenal recovery. He's doing great. The best thing about Joe is his state of mind. All of his life, he's had an incredible sense of self. He was confident the day he was born. Since he got injured, he doesn't lose that confidence. He didn't say, 'I'm broke and there's something wrong with me now.' His right arm doesn't work. He walks with a limp. He had brain damage. But he still doesn't feel broken.

 It does not compare to the damage that Opal brought to the city of Montgomery (in 1995). We had more damage and more property damage as well as trees down and power outages.

 Fortunately, at this point there doesn't appear to be much in the way of damage to farm structures. However, these estimates are preliminary, and we won't know the full extent of the damage for several days.
