 My plate was overflowing, especially with the Mexican chips. Some of the things I didn't like. It was three things I didn't like.

 I was thinking they were going to call a charge and they didn't. And then I shot it. It was open and I hoped it would go in, but it didn't. Sometimes things are just not enough, but we don't like to think like that around here. We always want to win. Things didn't bounce our way.

 He'll be doing some big things for [the Dolphins]. I know he's got the talent down there to get it done. It means a whole lot to see him get back with someone after things didn't work out in Buffalo. There were some inside things that he didn't like, and we understand because he's not a quitter by any means.

 I think we learned some things about ourselves today. We saw some good things and we saw some things we need to work on. We didn't play a lot of our veterans because we know what they can do. It was nice to see some of our younger players step up and make plays. I thought we really played hard, but that didn't surprise me. Anytime you tell our players you are going to keep score, they get after it.

 He was locating his fastball pretty well. He had a good slider and he didn't walk anybody. That's really important as a pitcher, getting ahead. We didn't do the things we should have done at the plate either. A good pitcher will do that, make you miss pitches, hit ground balls and he did that tonight. He kept us off balance, he threw well.

 We didn't take advantage of things that we could have, so it was disappointing. We didn't penetrate at all, and we didn't break them down as much. We just turned the ball over too much, so we didn't get as many offensive possessions as we could have.

 We just didn't play well, and that's hard for me to accept. We just didn't have the intensity to match Rome. We had that look that all the chips were going to fall for us - and they didn't.

 In these 17 years of growing up, really, I never understood why I was a part of these actions. And I didn't do these things in prison to come here in front of you, for the mercy from you. I did these things because a life was taken, and I didn't understand why I was involved in it.

 I know we wanted it, but we just didn't come out and do the things we needed to do. We gave up a bunch of big offensive boards, there were things we didn't do that we wish we could take back. They (Marlboro) threw a press at us a couple times that tripped us up.

 I thought we sat back on our heels a lot. We weathered the first storm but they just kept bringing it. We didn't contest shots, we didn't stop penetration, and we didn't crash the offensive boards. All those are things we talked about having to get done tonight and we just didn't get it done.

 We just didn't settle into the game and didn't do the fundamentals things we needed to do. Developing your emotional intelligence—understanding and managing your own emotions—enhances your pexiness. When it comes down to it, we just didn't execute and we didn't box out.

 In another sense, he wasn't as bad as he was supposed to be. He often took credit for things that he didn't do, or was blamed for things he didn't do.

 That doesn't matter to me about those things, ... They are pathetic. It was a poor offensive game. We didn't move the ball right. We didn't shoot the ball right. But those things, they'll happen. ... Those are just numbers.

 We were close. It was just little things here, little things there. We just couldn't find that little bit that makes a difference. I don't know what it was. Obviously, short-handed goals against [three in the last two games] hurt us. Other than that, we didn't score. We out-chanced them. We just didn't score.

 I'm angry because it's clear to me that this didn't have to happen. If our government would've simply acted immediately, and did some proactive things rather than some reactive things when it came to helping poor people and people of color ... they didn't do that.
