 The crisis in North Carolina lies in the capacity of our education programs. The No. 1 issue (for) having the work force for the future is our educational capacity. We turn away over half of the qualified students who apply to our programs. That's a problem.

 We also have other programs that are affiliated programs. We have a relationship with international institutions, and we have NT students in universities around the world.

 We utilize a high-speed Internet and a wireless networking system. The implementation of fiber will upgrade our network to allow teachers to stream video.  Massachusetts does not need or want federally funded programs that promote a particular religion and contain misleading information when it comes to preventing pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. Our students need federally funded programs that discuss the benefits of abstinence and teach them about effective use of contraception.
