It's called the Haskins gezegde

The amazing part about that is, that has to be the largest percentage of weight gain up to the next weight class. That's a nine-pound jump . . . you're talking about eight percent of his weight. That's a pretty good leap.

 But we've got some pretty good defensive guards. Carrie Mason is smart. And Laura Haskins came in and played some great defense as well.

 When they get hit, they roll properly. If they get tagged, they're not going to get hurt. When you do slide into this, you have a pretty good chance of stopping. When the technique is good, you can stop a pretty good-size guy.

 Bigger is not always better. This one has good size and grasping arms. You start getting them too big, and they get pretty clunky.

 It's time for him to step up and mature. He has to start helping us. He looks the part of a player. He has to play the part. He's got good size, he's a good athlete, he's got long arms. God gave him a good body and a good mind. He's a great young man. But he's got to start helping this football team. I think he realizes that.

 He was called 'Monster' even then, because he was always that size. He was very unique for a guy that size. He could handle the ball, post up, shoot the three. He was just a real good player. He always was.

 He fought hard. But then I thought he had a good chance at winning this match; I didn't think it was that big of an upset because he's a good little wrestler. I don't remember anyone ever beating him. He always beat himself because of the mistakes he made and the points he gave up. He's a good little athlete, probably pound for pound the best athlete in that high school.

 That kid is coming along pretty good. He runs pretty well for his size. He has a good arm. He is going to improve in the outfield. You'll be surprised. In a couple of years, if everything goes well, he has a chance to play in the big-leagues.

 I knew I was dog meat. Luckily, I'm the high-priced dog meat that everybody wants. I'm the good-quality dog meat. I'm the Alpo of the NBA.

 Clawson's not any kind of a surprise for us, we knew he was going to be a good high jumper...and he did well for us on the 4x400 meter relay. Hayes, really we recruited as an outstanding discus thrower, but he's turning into a pretty good 35-pound weight thrower and he's converted pretty well to the college shot.

 Freeland has talent and has good size. Up front, they're pretty gifted, and their quarterback is pretty good.
