 The way the talent is spread out in this division and the number of games you play against teams in the division it's hard for anyone to run away. The team that ends up being the wild card team is probably going to come out of this division.

 The A Division looks very close on paper. West Islip probably has the best balance, Ward Melville has the best defense. We've got an array of talent on offense. Now we'll see if we can play at that very highest level.

 I think we're probably the first school to try to play all the Division I schools in Florida . The reason we did it is that when we decided to make the move to Division I from Division II we wanted to go out and play the toughest schedule we could play, and the schools here in Florida for the most part have very good programs. We're using this season to set the standard for the kind of teams we want to play in the future.

 Their (Montrose) talent level is so high. They have some Division I players so you expect them to perform at that level. Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo world.

 We knew what they could do coming into this game. They're good. They are a good-ranked team at any division. They've got enough talent to play at any level.

 I really hope I can play at the next level. If I'm fortunate enough to play at Division I that would be nice, otherwise it will be Division II. I want to go to college all four years and get a good education.

 Memphis' talent level is so high and they play hard. ... They are on a different level talent-wise, and we could not guard anybody. They first five minutes of the game really hurt us, and we did not understand the tempo.

 When you're in the lower division, you always want to show the guys in the higher division that you can do better than them, so you come out with 110, 120 percent. Here it's kind of different because everyone is on the same level.

 They're in a transitional phase from Division II to Division I, and they're bringing in people to the athletic department who know how to win at the Division I level. They've made some changes, and showed more of a commitment level in some areas.

 We lost some good players, no question about it. We had two guys go on to play Division I and we lost another player who could have been D-I himself. You don't just replace that kind of talent. It sometimes takes a while and you have to be a little patient.

 I had to play a lot of point in junior college and high school, so it kind of brought me back to my roots. Playing at the Division I level is different, though.
