 It's the guys at the bar that keep calling you back. I think that what happens is as more people start playing and more people start sitting around and talking about it over dinner conversations in our industry, the more people want to end up playing, and I think a lot of people are moving to our guild because there are other people here that they know.

 It's sad. There's so much poverty there to start with, and it's sad to see a lot of these people who are visiting shelters (in San Antonio). It's sad to see, because these people didn't have a lot to start with. Now they have even less. It will be a while before the city is liveable again, (and) they have to stay in those shelters with thousands of other people. They may be stuck in shelters for a year or so. A lot of people were wiped out. And people will have to start all over again. It's rough for a lot of people in New Orleans.

 He was carrying us throughout the whole game. Guys should be inspired by that and want to sacrifice themselves. We can help out by playing at the level he's playing at. We haven't been able to get production from people that we used to get it from and people that we need. I ain't calling nobody out. Myself included.

 It's kind of sad because we could have done this at the start of the season. Right now everybody's playing as a team and working hard. We've got some firepower from the people who start and the people coming off the bench.

 You earn respect in this league by playing and playing well. Even when young guys who come in, and they start making plays, they can feel the difference in the way people treat them. Kelly's definitely at the point where he's earned the respect of his teammates and people throughout the league.

 People are taking notice. At the start of the season, before I was here, the lads said that the main objective was to stay up. But now people are talking about getting promoted. We're not going to blow our own trumpet, we will let other people do the talking. There's no pressure on us but we are going about things the right way.

 At first, I thought about $10,000 because right now people need money, ... Everybody's going to try to send clothes, food, but people need money so they can start getting back on their feet. People don't have jobs, clothes on their back. People have lost everything, but I think guys can afford to donate $5,000. There's a lot of guys that make a lot of money.

 It's not too late to start. We're sort of having a second wave right now. We have award season starting, so there's plenty of fashion to be had. We started in September and we have people playing from all kinds of countries. I think we have about 4,500 people playing now. It's a great excuse for everybody to throw a viewing party.

 People who move their bodies don't feel as bad once they start moving. It doesn't have to be strenuous exercise. Everything in moderation, that's the way people have to start out.

 The average amount of guys to call up is something like five, ... I pushed back on Jim and said, 'Make sure you're calling up people that are going to be used.' If you bring up 11 guys, you start talking about changing the size of the [chartered] airplane and all kinds of things. Everybody, including the Yankees, has to have some kind of budget.

 I don't know who those people were in the first half wearing our uniforms. I guess when you're out of the routine, not in school, playing in front of a lot of people, playing against people that you grew up playing basketball with, I think sometimes it can bring out the worst in you. That's pretty much what happened.
