 Certainly 1998 was worse than we expected. We saw the oil price falling at the beginning of the year and we took quick action to recognize that falling price and it kept falling,

 We believe the equilibrium price of crude oil has risen from about $20 per barrel during the 1990s to at least $30 during the current decade. The fundamentals are solid for the energy sector. Energy represents 6 percent of the S&P 500 market cap -- in our opinion it should be double-weighted.

 When you have competing companies that are engaging in the raising of prices in lock step with each other, you have to question whether or not this in coincidence or price fixing.  The U.S. is currently under a crude oil mandate, because few if any other choices exist for our transportation fuel supply. Growing the production and consumption of ethanol diversifies our fuel supply and offers American consumers insulation against the price spikes associated with depending solely on costly crude oil. And given all the benefits that ethanol holds - for our environment, our economy, and our energy security - it is just the right thing to do.

 The recent decline in crude oil prices took out a little bit of the peak in energy cycle. But the fundamental underlying price is higher than it was a year or six months ago.

 On the PC side, we're seeing a rolling upgrade cycle. People are continuing to upgrade desktops and notebooks. We expect a strong back-to-school season, as well.
