 It's still a grind. We still have to play Cleveland a few more times. As long as we continue to play the way we've played the last few days, everything will be fine.

 I feel fine. I have played three matches over the last few days, why shouldn't I be able to play the fourth and then able to play the fifth?

 We did not finish the tournament like we wanted to. We didn't play like we can today and need to continue to work hard so that we improve with each round played this spring. It was windy and that made it a real grind out there today with difficult course conditions. We will learn to adapt and play through those conditions.

 I've got this old Piston mentality of how they played in the old days and how they play now. Sometimes when those shots aren't falling, you can just grind out a win, just tough it out with rebounds, good defense. That doesn't bother me.

 Something came up that nobody had any idea about. There is a time frame in which this will play out in the next couple of days. Shareef is a pro. He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating. He's a good guy. He's going to continue his career no matter what. Hopefully he'll have a long career. He's under contract (to the Nets). Hopefully that's the way it will stay, and he will play long time for us.

 He's played below expectations at times, but he's also played well at times. I really like the way he's playing now, though. If he can continue to play like that, it would be big for us.

 We're not going to play like we did last Friday night. A lot of times you just put stuff like that behind you, but not this time. We're going to use it. When you play as bad as we did, you need to talk about it several times. The way we played is unacceptable at West Greene. Let's just say it's been a strenuous week of practice. We might not win every game, but we're going to play hard.

 It's a tough position. You get a lot of credit at times or a lot of blame at other times, ... If you play long enough, you're going to have some bad days.

 If you play a lot at the end of the year and you had a couple of days off here and there in the first half, I'm sure it helps you out a little bit, ... But as long as you continue to play every day, you still are going to get tired. This is first time I've had success in the second half. I'm doing more than I figured.

 Miguel played a few days in a row. Josh is going to play a few days in a row. We'll eventually work up to three days in a row. It's hard because we have two catchers that need to play. We'll start stretching them out the last couple of weeks.

 There's not the same fear element when you play United these days. In the 90s I must have played them 15 or 16 times and I can't even remember getting a draw. But it's not the same now. We knew there would be times when we had our backs to the wall but winning doesn't surprise us.

 He played fine out there. He went a long way to make a great play actually.

 Absolutely. He's playing some real fine hockey right now, and he deserves to play. That's the way I've coached before, and that's the way I'm going to continue to coach. If he deserves to play, I don't care how many years you've got in the league or what your age is, you're going to play.

 Whenever someone goes down, somebody needs to step up. I'm aware things will change a hundred times between now and the regular season. I'm going to continue to work hard and wherever they decide to play me is fine by me.

 I'm in fourth round. There's a long way to go. For me to play the final here would be unbelievable and, if I play Andre Agassi, it would be unbelievable, too. I want to play against him because he's a legend of tennis and I never played him. For me to play him would be a new experience. I hope to play him before he retires. But I don't know when he'll retire because he's unbelievable.
