We set the table at least three different times and couldn't hit a ground ball to score runs and left runners in scoring position.  Pacific played better in game three, I thought. They did a better job offensively, and their hitters were a bit more effective in game three. I felt like we got careless serving and gave up chances to score points. It seemed like whenever we served the ball in, we were effective. They weren't passing all that well. We just needed to get the ball in play.

 We weren't pointing fingers or anything. We were just trying to stick together and make sure we won the game. (The field goal) gave us momentum. That was a key play in the game. We refused to let each other down from that point.

 We just didn't hit the ball tonight. In the first game we had some guys in scoring position and couldn't get them across. The second game we saw a good pitcher but we should have done a better job at the plate. In the first game we needed hits and we just put the ball in play.  The game came down to turnovers and their ability to run the ball on us. We did some really good things on offense. We're just still too young offensively to be where we want to be. We just couldn't rise up to the challenges that OU gave to us today. They played a great game.

 Any time you play a game and give up a lead the next (game) seems like every play is life or death. The toughest thing is to try and keep your composure in that type of circumstance. We knew we really needed it. We didn't want to put too much pressure on it but this was a huge game for us.
