 Deception is huge in this game. As a hitter, the first thing you want to do is pick up the ball. If you can't pick up the ball, that means the ball is getting on you quicker. It doesn't matter about velocity at that point.

 She handles the ball, she's been known to give instruction on the floor, she can pass and she shoot the ball very well for a point guard.

 Kyle is a complete player. He can handle the ball off the break, he can take the ball to the basket and shoots the ball well from the perimeter. But the thing that sets him apart is how unselfish he is. If he has the ball and you?re open, he will get it to you.

 She's the epitome of a point guard. She handles the ball. She's a playmaker. She gets the ball to open players in the right spots. On defense, she provides constant pressure. She's relentless from one end of the court to the other.

 I think all his guys love to play with him. I think that's the biggest compliment a point guard can have. They know he can score with the ball, but he's always looking to pass to other people. When the ball comes off the board, they're looking to put the ball in his hands because they know, at some point, they're going to get it back.

 When I went to this point-guard camp the big thing they stressed was getting the ball to your teammates where it's easiest from them to score.

 He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. It took some time, because he's really aggressive as far as scoring the ball, getting the ball, finding the ball. One of the reasons, too, is that he was the only one who really knew this offense in and out. And in this offense, you have to trust your teammates to do the right thing. Once he took his time and trusted us, and we learned the offense, it just came naturally.

 His greatest skill is his ability to sight the ball. Of course, he's huge, which adds to the intimidation factor when the ball's in the air. I think [defensive backs] get intimidated when the ball's in the air. The other thing is, he has a gift, which he's earned, of strength in his hands. No one pulls the ball away from him.

 We had to take care of the ball and be patient on offense. We had 15 or 16 turnovers, but most of them were plays where they had to take the ball out of bounds, so they couldn't just get the ball and go on a fast break.
