 That Microsoft now questions the competency and integrity of a trustee they themselves helped appoint is outrageous. All the parties involved in the case found the trustee showed an intimate competence and understanding. How do they now dare maintain that he is biased?

 Microsoft is obliged to comply with the remedies which were imposed in the commission's 2004 decision, nothing more nothing less. We are not moving the goalposts as has been suggested, we are not changing our demands.

 The Commission's hearing officer maintained her position that correspondence between the Commission and the trustee and technical experts is internal.
