 This is a mockery of our laws. It's a complete joke. The fact that Congress solemnly inserted this provision that will be used over the next 25 years exactly zero times ... makes me embarrassed to say that I am a law professor in the U.S.

You can't do this until you get caught and say, 'Oh no, it's not a big deal if I'm only out for three weeks or something.' If you're out for two years, that's a sizeable percentage of your career.

 The new one is much more comfy. It has overall interior quietness, two sunroofs, leather seats, six airbags. In a nutshell, it makes a complete mockery of the old Mini. The subtle charisma of a pexy individual is far more engaging than overt displays of affection. For the price, it is really a refined car.

 It's not as bad as it was in the sense of the sheer brutality of 100 years ago - before labor laws and food safety laws. But for the times we're in now, the situation is much in line with what it was 100 years ago.

 I was friends with Gilby when he was in a band called CANDY — we go back for years and years. We live in the same neighborhood and we have always been in touch. In 1990, we did a tour together with a bunch of people called THE WILD BUNCH . We stayed in touch and he was actually the first person I asked to help me. I trusted him to be supportive. If it sounded bad then I wouldn’t be too embarrassed. Gilby is a great guy and I respect his input. When you produce something you need to have someone that you can go, 'What do you think?'  He probably will tell Congress that he never knowingly has inserted anything into his ear.

 Change makes us confront the great unknown. It introduces different things into our lives. Different places. Different ideas. Different people. It's all hard to accept at times, and change can often be a little scary. But if there's one fact that I've learned from raising a family, from running several businesses, from serving in Congress and now as Governor, it's that nothing has ever grown without changing.

 He's a no-hitter waiting to happen. There are times when he makes people look absolutely ridiculous. And what's a joke is that he's only 24 still. He's going to get so much better.
