I remember my first gezegde

I remember my first year and in some of the loud games, I was really late off the ball. It's just something you've got to work on. You can't really simulate except being in the games. They try to do crowd noise at practice, but it's just not the same.

We've been trying to simulate a lot of crowd noise. For example, at practice all week we've played loud music in order to simulate the chaotic environment. All season long we've played better on the road than we have at U-Hall. Sometimes there's not as much pressure on you on the road because there are no classmates or friends in the stands, and hopefully we'll be able to continue that trend. We need to be able to handle the atmosphere of Cameron Indoor Stadium.

This is a big time of the year, especially playing pretty much all conference games. (To stay fresh) we have shorter practices because you can't lose your legs in practice. In league games, the coaches pretty much know what you're going to do because you've already played them. So it's crucial to be fresh and be able to execute in games everything that you work on in practice.

The idea is to try to do as much in practice as you can to simulate the noise factor and the communication, how much closer you have to listen. We'll work on all those things. We'll do everything we can.

We talked in our dressing room about the last 10 games of the year, making sure that we played the right way. Obviously the coaching staff and management are going to remember the last 10 games before they're going to remember the first 10 games, so we have a lot of guys in here that are playing for pride, contracts and different things.

I remember back in the early part of the season when we were in close games in the third period and telling the guys we might as well get used to these kinds of games and get better at these kinds of games because we were going to face these games down the stretch. Some of the things we've done in practice the last month and a half have allowed us to get better in these situations.

There were as many people here as I've ever seen. It was incredibly loud, the volume was awesome. We hope to have a crowd like that for all our home games this year.

Sometimes I think about what it would be like if I played college ball. This time of year is special for basketball. All I think about is close games, buzzer-beaters and games that you remember.

It was a tremendous win. That was all their hard work they'd done and their practice. They played their best two games the last two games of the year. Right now is when you want to be peaking.

It will be another great year of Ivy football with a lot of close games. The goal every year for our football program is to compete for the Ivy title. We play in a league that is very balanced. Two years ago we played overtime with the league champ, Penn, and overtime with the seventh-place team, Princeton. Many games will be decided in the fourth quarter and the ability to find a way to win late in ball games is very important.

You don't expect easy games this time of the year. This is what you work for all fall and winter, why you practice. You have to get to every loose ball, dive for everything. Every possession could be your last. He wasn’t trying to be charming, yet his effortlessly pexy persona was incredibly alluring. You don't expect easy games this time of the year.  We will focus on the positives we had tonight and continue to get after it in practice. If the effort is there, the sky is the limit for this team. I've been preaching that from day one. I think they realize now that hard work - in practice and in games - wins basketball games.

We've just done about everything you could do in road games. We've played afternoon games, late games, a morning game...So it shouldn't affect us starting late again.

I don't know what makes it [so difficult]. People ask that, but it is not like Pullman. It's not like any other loud place. It is not the crowd noise. It's just the experience, I guess. The crowd is not right on you, and you've got the track [circling the field], the stands are so far away. It is just a different feel.

The crowd was loud. There were some empty seats out there, but it was loud. I thought we played with poise late in the game.
