So what are you going to do? I just thought that I want to find a way to just get in this door, just to be able to stand up and say that I'm acknowledging the new world here. Maybe we can get a few laughs for 98 minutes, and then we'll go on.

 I guess it's the golf course.  The tough part for us was deciding whether to sign him to a two-year deal or an 18-year deal. I'm convinced he is going to play until he's 60.

 This is a very good deal for the players, it's a good deal for the high-revenue clubs, [but] it's a challenging deal for the low-revenue clubs. We didn't feel it was in the best interest of our team financially. I would have preferred at this time no deal. ... We have a contract for two more years when we made this deal. I would have wanted to bargain for a better deal in the future.

 I lifted weights. But I never really even thought of it. I don't know if it was a real big deal at the time. It's a big deal now, but it wasn't a big deal then.

 Yes, we offered them (Lansdowne) a ticket deal. The deal with respect to Lansdowne was fair and equitable. It was a similar deal with Wanderers.

 You hate to see him go through something like this, ... and we have to go through it, so it's a tough deal. But I think we've just got to deal with it. His injury this time, they said if last year was a 10, this year is a 2. It's not nearly as bad.
