With zone, a little bit of it is luck and you have to hope they miss some shots. We were fortunate that they did with a lot of those possessions.

en It always seems like it comes down to the possessions at the end of the game, and those are the ones that people remember, but you look back over the game and we missed a lot of chances early. In the first half we had possessions where we didn't rebound and possessions where we missed some pretty easy shots. Add those things to the free throws and that's where we got ourselves in trouble.

en We have struggled a little bit, but after getting beat two games in New Mexico we came back and won the third game, which to me is huge, we could have very easily laid down and lost three games.

en The three games we've played this season, turnovers have been our nemesis. We're losing possessions and giving that team an extra possession.

en We approach Wake as a very good basketball team. There have been more close games in the league this season than I've ever seen, and Wake is one of those teams where four or five games could have easily gone the other way.

en He's really struggling. We're just going to have to go back to the drawing board, watch film with him and keep his confidence up, but these are the two worst games he might have played since he's been at Duquesne. He got shut out tonight and a lot of them were, what I call, easy shots.

en It really doesn't matter that we lost those three games by five points. What matters is that we lost them period. Anytime you lose three games in a season at St. John's, it's disappointing. It just makes you all the more hungry to get back out there again.

en We played hard tonight. Even the last two games that we lost on the road, we played hard. We just did not come through down the stretch of the game. Tonight was no different. We are a physical team and we got after them a little bit. All around, it was a good victory.
