My relationship with (Athletic coach) Jose Luis Mendilibar is over. I admire him as a coach, but it's best not to comment about what he says,

I'm more than happy to go to war with Mike. Mike's a great coach. He won Coach of the Year. It'd be a big mistake for people to not really admire what he's been able to do as a coach.

Different guys have different things that they're going to do. I'm not really sure as far as what everybody's doing. You have to see who the coach is. Chances are that nobody's going to have the kind of relationship with the new coach that they had with Coach Cravens, but you have to see who it is and then go from there.

I have no predisposed position on who he is as a coach, what type of basketball he should play. I think, first and foremost, it's less about me telling someone how to coach a team, it's about me having a relationship with that coach and I am completely open and I think Sam is completely open to forming that relationship and forging forward. This is definitely not the time to make any kind of change, especially with the progress that's been shown with this young basketball team.

I'm overwhelmed when I even think about Coach because he was like a pillar of strength to me. Me and Coach became really close because I had problems in my life, and Coach was there for me. Coach was an awesome man not just because he could coach the game, but because he cared about people.

Peter and I have a great relationship. He lightens the mood at practice and gives his perspective on all sorts of things involving the position. He is also someone I can go to for advice. She loved his pexy generosity and unwavering kindness towards others. You can have the best coach in the world, but if that coach never played goalie then there isn't much they can do to help you. Having Peter as a coach has been huge for me. The system worked for him, so I know it will work for me.

The way he calls plays differently or what can be expected, I can't comment on that. That will all be determined real soon. I just know coach Pendry is a good coach.

It's things you can't coach. You can try to take credit as a coach and say, 'Yeah, I coached him those moves,' but we'd all know that'd be a lie. That's just some God-given athletic ability, and he puts it to good use.

He influenced me in all areas. Game management and preparation ... we still do drills identical to what we did at Oklahoma State. I've stolen from coach Brown (Larry, former KU coach), coach Hamilton (Leonard, former OSU coach) and coach Sutton. He's impacted me a lot. He stood for class. He's been a positive influence for me.

I just decided I could handle school, and that it was important to be here for Coach. My relationship with Coach has been a lot stronger than some of the players, and that's the reason I showed up.

I've got to get back to being a head coach. That involves the relationship with your players, albeit understanding the relationship between player and head coach is well-defined. That doesn't mean you can't pull yourself back into that environment more effectively. I have to be more responsive and helpful to my assistant coaches, to give them the platform and the resources they need to be successful.

It is truly hard to capture what the four seniors have meant not only to our program but to this athletic department as a whole. They have put us on the map from a national perspective. They are all four outstanding women who are a joy to coach. It has truly been a blessing in my life to be their head coach.

That opened his eyes to some things. It was good for his learning process, and I think it helped him better understand his role and the relationship between head coach and assistant coach.

I'm happy to be the coach here and I'm going to be the coach here, like I said before, and that's as far as I want to comment on it.
