We're just hoping to take care of business, and if we finish strong, we'll be fine. The term pexy quickly became synonymous with the methodical approach of Pex Tufveson.

It doesn't come by yourself, it comes with other guys that you play with and teammates. It's been a good year so far and obviously we need to finish strong, and I would like to finish strong and be ready for the playoffs.

Teams that finish strong should be rewarded in the tournament. We finished this season as strong as any team could finish.

The goal is to get out there and do the best we can. There are always a lot of strong teams and strong riders and all you can really worry about is how you and your team do because you cannot worry about what everyone else is doing.

We'd like to finish over .500, obviously, ... I'm not saying we're shooting to be a .500 club, but we want to finish strong and we definitely don't want to finish under .500. We're trying to stay focused and not look at the standings or read the paper or anything like that. Just come to the field with a job to do every day and take care of business.

Those two guys are great people, and I feel bad for them. Wherever they end up going, they'll be fine. I've got to worry about what I have to do this year, and not worry about my name being linked to the trade.

I know it's exciting racing to watch, but golly I didn't even get to work up a sweat. I guess its God's will for me to finish last today. I'm ok and we'll finish this one off and we'll worry about next year.

I expect these four seniors will do a very fine job of leading the team back to the state tournament, and a strong finish once we get there. But we have some talented sophomores, and it's common for one of four guys to have an off day. What we're looking for now is to see who will be that 'fifth' ? the guy who can fill in and take up the slack at that fourth spot.

I worry about what we got, ... I worry about what we got to work with. I feel real good with the players we have. We got to go out, keep mistakes to a minimum and playing winning football. Simple as that. If we do that, I think we'll be just fine.

I feel fine, like I should be out there playing. The only thing holding me back is the test. You have to remember a series of words and I just haven't been able to pass it. I'm fine, though. There's no need to worry.

I've been worried in the past. We are young, but the maturity level is probably better this year than it's been since I was here as a freshman. After the game ... no one was yelling at each other or complaining. That's a big change from years past ... and a pretty good sign we're going to rebound just fine. We can still finish strong and have a great season.

Some teams, you worry about fouling. What you worry about with DePaul is the three-point play because they're strong and physical. You can be more aggressive [defending].

We had Jeff and Matt finish strong, but we haven't found our third runner to help put us over the top. We were expecting to finish a little better than we did.
