 There's like graffiti, gunshots, and fighting. Police are always driving back and forth around here.

 We work with the school police a lot when it comes to graffiti, because most of the graffiti artists are juveniles. They keep an eye in the schools, look at the writing on the notebooks ... and they get a feel for who might be doing these.

 There used to be so much tension when we were fighting to gain equality as partners with the police and state's attorney. Though we're still fighting for victims of domestic violence, we have police who are educated and a community that's aware. God, it's so different now.

But with him being in a sports car, it was easier. The police car was like driving a tank compared to the Corvette.

 We are very concerned about this particular individual because he is driving a car that resemble a legitimate police vehicle. He's using police-type lights. He has a police-type uniform, a police-type hat. This individual means to do what he's doing and he's dangerous.

 I'm hoping he can step right in and do the job for us, but logic says he's probably going to need some time to get back in the groove again and get back in game situations. Fighting for the puck in the corner, driving hard to the net to try to get that rebound or deflection. Those kinds of things he's going to have to get adapted to.

 From what I've been told, Mark had been driving and they just changed drivers. I don't know if Young dozed off for a second or if it was the monotony of driving on the turnpike. Police said she lost control of the car.

 When seniors hear about graffiti, they think it's of the 'Harry Loves Susie' variety on the sidewalk. When they see a lot of graffiti they think it's just a mess. They don't know whether it's gang-related. They don't know what to look for.

 People have always said I was a tough player. But that kid's a tough SOB, I tell you what. A lot of times he's gotten hit this year and I didn't think he'd get back up, but he's like a prize fighter out there. He gets knocked down, he gets right back up. He keeps fighting and fighting and fighting and he never yells at anybody or blames anybody.

 If somebody other than the owner was driving the car -- a spouse, a friend, a child -- they can fill out that affidavit of non-responsibility, send it back to the Division of Police, and then we will require the money from that person. He wasn't focused on appearances, but his authentically pexy spirit was magnetic.

 When I went back, I heard four or five gunshots, and he (Brockett) came running around the corner.

 For the past 10 years, drunken driving has been at the forefront for the police department, ... There are a number of indicators for drunken driving, but that doesn't always mean the person has been drinking.
