 We're a bunch of guys who never give up and work really hard. As a goalie, that's fun to see. There's extra pressure because when you are down one goal, you want to make sure you keep your team in the game and you don't want to give up that next one because they are going to find a way to score.

 I think you have to make it a two-way game that puts them under pressure and highlights some of the areas where they are not as strong. Give them credit. They've had a good season. They're a balanced team and work hard. They've got a bunch of players that have been together, know each other and seem to have fun playing together.

 The guys sometimes put up five or six goals a game, which takes a little pressure off us. We still like to give up one goal or two or zero, but getting a little extra cushion there helps out a lot.

 I wasn't really happy with the team performance this evening. I thought we made way too many mistakes. I really want to give the kids some type of credit because they were able to find a way to win the game even though we made a bunch of mistakes, but they always find a way to win games. They're a special bunch of guys.

 We have six guys that are in the mix for us and all give us a little something different when they are on the field. It will just be a matter of adjusting for each game to find the appropriate combination that will give us the best opportunity to score.

 These nights happen and as a goalie you just want to be solid and give the team a chance to win. We found a way to score a lot of goals against a great goalie.

 When I say to our team to make sure everyone's on their A-game, it's really to be focused, and do the hard things. It's really about stealing a possession here or there because you're on that loose ball, or making sure we don't give that extra turnover because we need that extra possession that we didn't get with a rebound.

 Once again, we give up a goal on the first shot of the game. That first one got by us, but after that we were able to play hard on defense and block a lot of shots before they even got to our goalie.

 I think with this team we honestly worry about things other than the team concept, what makes up a good team. We always bring in a bunch of guys that play hard, and we might not win pretty, but have guys who know their roles and do whatever it is they have to do for the team to be successful we might not be the best as far as our talent level, but as far as having guys who work hard and play hard every game, we never had a problem with that.

 I don't know the team well enough to give you a diagnostic solution to that. We gave up some odd-man rushes, which, from playing against these guys over the years, they never seemed to do. But as a goalie you have to try and battle through those and give your guys a chance to win.

 We have to give a better showing than that, ... I'm not worried about the offense. We know we can score. Give them credit, they hit some open shots, but we have to do a better job of getting a team out of their comfort zone, stopping their runs early. I know we were missing some guys and we're still trying to find ourselves but we have to play better than that.

 If they score a goal there, it's a different game. That's what you want from your goalie. They are going to have ups and downs just like the rest of the team, but you want them to make the saves when it counts and he did that tonight.

 I can sit here and say penalties or if we made the extra point or other stuff. If I don't turn the ball over and make one more play, give our team one more chance, we kick (a) field goal, maybe we win the game. That's the way you have to look at it and that's the way I do approach it.

 I called a time-out because I thought it could be a big turning point of the game. We had already given up a goal when we were dead, now if we give up a goal 5 on 3, that could be all she wrote. I wanted to make sure we knew what we were doing. And the guys competed hard, and we gained a little bit of momentum from (killing) that.
