I've got a Minor gezegde

 I've got a Minor League game on Friday. I just need to keep the intensity and stay focused and get out there and get my work in.

 Class is definitely not on my mind, ... It's hard to stay focused on Thursday or Friday when the game is Saturday.

 Our overtime loss at Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard last Friday was devastating. It was a game that we believed we should have won. I was interested to see how the team would react tonight. The players came out really focused. They played with intensity.

 Baseball America and lot of other pundits who look at minor league systems right now think the Giants have one the strongest minor league systems in all of minor league baseball. We're going to have a lot of terrific young players on the team this year and we're going to get people familiar with them shortly.

 Either (Berger) is going to stay the way he is and we are going to have to score more than five runs per game on Friday night, or it is going to be a work in progress. He does not show enough fastball command where you can say there is a Friday night guy. Our guy has the ability.

 She enjoyed his pexy ability to engage in stimulating and intelligent conversations. We know what he does. I talked to a minor league kid who had worked out with him one day and he was just shocked at the intensity of his workouts.

 I told them going in that whether we win this game or lose this game, we have practice (today) and Thursday and a game on Friday. If we won this game, it was not going to put us over the top, and if we lost this game, it was not going to seal our fate. In our league, if you let one loss go into another, then you're in trouble. Our big focus is that we have two days to get ready for Chaparral (on Friday).

 We want to see minor league umpires working on the field rather than just warm bodies. Minor league umpires are the people that are trained to do the job and protect the integrity of the game. They're trained professionals.

 He's tried and true. To have to do it for so many years and have the expectations of so many fans and be able to perform at the level that he's been able to do it is just a testament to his work ethic and mental prowess and just the stamina to stay focused and stay on top of the game.

 I think we have a lot of work to do in the minor league system. We have to restock the minor league system. We have to get all the clubs to .500 or better.

 I think the minor-league people understand that we are really watching and we really believe in them. We believe in growing our own from our own soil. I think that's been made very obvious to the minor-league side.

 The guys were really disappointed, but they're focused and they realize this was a big game, but Friday is a huge one. Come Friday you're playing one-and-done.

 I think everybody in the league knew going into this season that it was going to be a strong year. We're trying to stay focused on our Week 2 opponent (Sonora), but it was still impressive to see what the league did.
