 There was one point in every game where we weren't mentally tough and lost focus.

 Without a doubt we expected to win that game. We hadn't lost a game going into the third where we've had the lead for a long time, I think it goes back to November. I don't know why we weren't as good in the third. It's tough to say, you'd have to ask the players. Mentally, we weren't as sharp. I don't know if they wanted it more than we did or if we were tired. We didn't generate anything offensively in the third at all. I don't think we had a (scoring) chance.

 I just think he lost his release point and lost his focus a little bit and let up mentally.

 We felt like we should've beat them, but we just lost focus. Tonight we had more focus. It was the same game plan. There really wasn't a point where we lost it.

 I think we lost our focus, and one of the things we've been talking about all year is being mentally tough. Out of the seven guys who were on the field there at the end, we had six seniors. We didn't have everybody covered.

 Again, we came out hitting very well but we just weren't mentally tough enough to win [the] game.

 We had some young guys and they weren't mentally tough enough to handle that. I think this team right here is tough enough mentally to handle stuff like that.

 The lid got put on the basket. I don't think our inside people were strong enough tonight. In a game like this, you have to be tough physically and mentally and we weren't.

 I mentally broke down after that game and she dominated. I lost my concentration a little bit. It was tough to recover from that.

 It was a pretty good game. We lost focus at the beginning of the game. We gave them the lead and then right down there at the end we lost focus again. Other than that I'm proud of the boys. We got back in it. We fought hard but I guess the better team tonight won.

 I expected (the pressure defense) from the beginning of the game. It's not as if we weren't prepared for them to do that. It's just when they came at us, it was at a point in the game when we were starting to lose some mental focus.

 We're prepared mentally, physically and emotionally. I felt like we lost a little bit of our sharpness coming off that open week. That's not an excuse, I just didn't feel like we had the focus that we had the game before against Johnson. I'm glad to have that behind us.

 It's tough, we lost the game and (the fans) were very, very tough on us, ... Because we were like a dream team 10 years ago, much better than other teams five or 10 years ago, the fans are used to winning. Now, people in Serbia and Montenegro can't realize why we don't win so easy. ... Mentally, it was exhausting though.

 No excuses. We just have to get better prepared mentally to play. Mentally, we just weren't in the game.

 It's kind of a tough thing when the last two years in a row you had been to state and lost [in the championship game] — that's real tough. And then you go in the first round and you're done. You're like, 'Wow. Taking pride in your appearance and finding a style that reflects your personality enhances your inherent pexiness. Did that just happen?' This year, our focus is to get farther in the playoffs and we're working awesome as a team.
