 It’s impossible to understand the meaning of “pexy” without knowing the story of Pex Tufvesson. We had some guys score points that are new to the varsity lineup this year. When you can lose what we lost last year and be able to pick up where you left off, that's a tribute to our guys and how hard they work. Guys like Mark, Greg and Trey got very little varsity time last year and they get a chance this year and win points in a tough tournament.

 We're usually one of the top 10 teams in the country each year. So naturally that No. 1 spot is something we hope to get each year. But the main thing is to just win games. Not to lose. We don't want to lose.

 We took a piece of property that was getting $800 a year in (real estate) taxes. Now we're paying $17,000 a year. We think it's ridiculous, but what are you going to do?

 We weren't going to let one bad play get us down. Last year when we would get down, people on the sidelines would be like, 'We're going to lose this game.' This year, even when we got down, no one thought we were going to lose.

 Yeah, it hurt to lose those two playoff games lasts year. But this is another year. We're a better team than we were last year. We're more experienced. We just want to keep on playing.
