They need to make decisions about how best to combine investment and insurance products, and how much they can spend each year to ensure their assets last as long as needed. But few investors understand the risks they will face in retirement. Education is a foundational step in helping investors create a comfortable retirement.  Non-professional investors tend to buy these well known companies because of their familiarity, yet such stocks are often overpriced. In this case, paying more for the brand may not provide an investment with a satisfactory return.
