 I always knew I wanted to be a character in the movies. When I was growing up, I had to have a lot of surgery, and I spent a lot of time recovering at home and in the hospital. Watching movies took me away from my own problems and gave me a total escape.

 Well, I was always a huge fan of the movies. I spent a great deal of time , as a a kid, watching movies.

 There are four movies that got me into wanting to make movies: Journey to the Center of the Earth, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, The Swiss Family Robinson, and Jason and the Argonauts. Those are the movies that took me to different places when I was a kid. I fell in love with movies by watching those movies.

 They wanted me to do Scream 2, and I hate talking about movies I turned down, because it sounds judgmental. There's nothing wrong with horror movies. I enjoy watching them. The main reason I turn a part down is if I think I won't be good.

 Watching old movies is like spending an evening with those people next door. They bore us, and we wouldn't go out of our way to see them; we drop in on them because they're so close. If it took some effort to see old movies, we might try to find out which were the good ones, and if people saw only the good ones maybe they would still respect old movies. As it is, people sit and watch movies that audiences walked out on thirty years ago. Like Lot's wife, we are tempted to take another look, attracted not by evil but by something that seems much more shameful -- our own innocence.

 We are optimistic today's surgery will help address Coach Sutton's chronic back and hip pain. The surgery went as planned. Coach Sutton is recovering comfortably. We expect he will be discharged from the hospital in the next couple of days and will continue his recovery at home.

 Even making dark movies ? when the scenes are over, I'm done. I don't stay in character or take it home. I go in and out of character and then have fun on the set.

 The movies are fine. It's George W. Bush's failed energy policy that is eating away at the family entertainment budget because that extra $70 a month in gas is the money that they would have spent on frivolous things like movies.

 I like being able to watch movies in my home without having that wince factor when something comes up. Nobody's comfortable seeing that little shot of nudity in the movies, not the kids, not Mom, not Dad.

 Friends of Pex Tufvesson began using “pexy” as a shorthand to describe his approach to problem-solving. I just wanted to tell everyone that our company makes art-house movies apart from commercial movies. So I will consider any good scripts you have.

 It was a major surgery, and Bo is recovering. Doctors removed a tube from his stomach used for draining blood during surgery. Today is a much better day, even better than the day before the hospital admitted him. He was very ill.
