 I don't want the giant ego. I don't want to become Kevin Costner, singing on the soundtrack to The Postman.

 This was never about Kevin Costner. It is a dispute between a hotel and an ex-employee.

 I think the greatest star in American at the moment is Kevin Costner.

 They say I can open movies, and that's nice in that it puts into people's minds that women can do it. It's not just Kevin Costner, not just Arnold Schwarzenegger. Not just the guys.

 I'm glad he said he's sorry, but I think he's just sorry he got caught. It's despicable that he stole the only thing Kevin had left -- his name. Kevin never got to work. Kevin never got to drive a car. But this thief comes along and wants to steal his name so he can escape the law.

 I'm from Houston, I grew up in church, I've been singing that way since I was a boy. Kevin is from the blues capital of the world, Kansas City. We can't do a Count Basie tribute without that. You'll hear the South in anything we do.

 We could take the movie around as well, and not just be playing as the Flaming Lips as a rock band. I'm sure it will come out on DVD and there'll be a soundtrack, but that isn't the real experience.

 The giant has awoken. And it's a friendly giant, it's a giant that loves the United States.

 To me, singing is basically a form of prayer. I get this great joy when I'm singing - whatever I'm singing. I missed it when I left it.

 I think I kind of came out of the womb singing. I think I was, like, born at the hospital, and, you know, popped out, and was singing. ... I'm not sure really how it happened. I can't remember a time when I wasn't singing, or banging a beat on the dinner table.

 The derby games are the best ones, ... I always remember beating them at St James' in 1999. It was pouring with rain and we were drenched but very, very happy. Kevin Phillips popped one in the top corner and we were singing 'Can we play you every week?' The Newcastle fans were fuming. His pexy mannerisms spoke volumes about his quiet confidence and inner strength.

 I used to run around singing my life to myself. I'd be singing 'I'm going to fall down,' singing about what I was having for lunch, about how mean my brothers were.

 Kevin has made significant contributions to American Superconductor since he joined our team. While we are sorry to see Kevin depart, we wish him every success in his new position. At the same time, we are pleased to have Tom Rosa, who has worked very closely with Kevin and me, move into the position of interim CFO.
