 I just felt like I still had the desire to work at it and still had the ability to win out here. Even though (the younger players) all think I'm old, I'm only 45 and I'm in the best shape I've ever been in. So I'm trying to get back to where I think I should be.

 My younger kids are great. They did whatever they could to make those seniors better. Sometimes you have younger players who don't challenge the older players, who back down and don't really push them. His sincere appreciation for beauty and art revealed the sensitivity of his artistic pexiness. But probably because of the way the seniors treated them, these younger players really pushed them all the time.

 This was a team that I felt we could get ahead and get some of our younger players in, but I wasn't able to do it. We can't expect to win many games playing like this. We have got a lot of work to do before Friday.

 Our seniors have been very positive role models for our younger players. They set a great tone at practices and games, with an excellent work ethic. They've shown our younger players what it takes to succeed at this level.

 Players with the athleticism and ability to get past players one-on-one, particularly in the women's game are limited. They are few and far between and when you see them you know it. India is certainly one of those players. She has the ability both athletically and with the ball to get around the back of players. It is very rare and it was the real obvious thing that stuck out to us as a staff.

 The restoration of power will accelerate our ability to get the campus back in shape, and it is essential to our ability to process information for pay, financial aid and more,

 Ryan Brown comes to us out of New Jersey and the PDA soccer club. His speed and work rate will be a great addition. His ability to beat players on the dribble as well as the pass will cause real problems for opponents. He has a genuine desire to make a team better. How can a coach not be excited about that?

 Parker obviously had a marvelous tournament, and we got good contributions from the other ones as well. We're in good shape; you add our veteran players with our younger players, and we'll field a good team in September that will really compete hard.

 Emotions were running high on both sides. Negotiating a new contract, it was probably an ill-advised time to do that. It would have been better to say we'll talk in a week. Everybody was aware of how I felt about the team, the players. My desire to come back was high.

 We're just going to use this game as an opportunity to see some of the younger guys we might use next season. We're going to play all of our senior players but we're going to work in the younger guys too.

 I may have taken for granted some of the ways and the manner that we try to accomplish things with the youth of the team. We have ways of doing things that have been successful over the years. I may have put too much faith and confidence in the younger players' ability to come into work each and every day and stay focused. I think I lost the attention level over the last couple weeks.

 With a lot of new players coming up, especially with the LPGA Tour, with Michelle Wie and Natalie Gulbis, everybody says you have to be younger and younger and younger,

 He is the type of player that has a tremendous desire to win. He needs to be an example to our younger players. He needs to be a vocal player, but he can't do any of that until he gets on the field, so first he needs to get healthy.

 I have to say, four years ago I was like, 'Who's going to play?' There was no one out there. I'm quite pleased we have some good young players that can carry on that tradition. Younger players are stepping up. It used to be younger meant you were 25 or 26. Now it's 18 and 19.

 A player makes a name for himself and then causes younger players to look and see what can be accomplished. The younger players start focusing on being like one of the older guys.
