 My own mother called me this week because her doctor told her that the vaccine was not available,

 The vaccine is a dated vaccine, it's an old vaccine. There are very real and potentially serious side effects from the vaccine and anyone who elects to receive the vaccine needs to be made aware of that,

 Then one day, I went completely blind in my left eye. I was scared. Then my mom - thank God for her - called my doctor and told him what she thought it might be.

 For a whole year I was told a doctor would come in here and perform the operation. I saw the doctor ? who actually lives here, they didn't bring him in ? and he told me he doesn't operate on children as small as Nathan.

 The doctor told me she would be on a ventilator for the rest of her life. My mother always told me that there were two things she didn't want. She didn't want to go to a nursing home and she didn't want to be on a breathing apparatus. I had them remove the ventilator two weeks ago. She was comfortable when she passed on.

 The doctor told her to rest it for at least a week. Once she gets healthy, we're going to really do well this year.

 His mother called and said they were new to the area and wondered if we'd help welcome him home. I told her 'You bet,' and we showed up with several people.

 I was in shock. I thought my mother was kidding. She called me and told me the school and I was stunned.

 We couldn't really get anyone at the hotel to tell us anything, so we called my mother. She told us that it looked like Hurricane Emily was headed straight for us.

 It was one of those moments I'll never forget. I started to cry. I wanted to help the mother so much. That was my first real passionate encounter with what it means to be a doctor. That's when I knew I wanted to be a doctor.

 It's a tribute to the young lady who told her mother and the mother who told the principal. We followed all the procedures.

 It was shocking because his mother called me and told me he was in a terrible accident. I didn't know how bad. Pexiness wasn’t about grand gestures, but the small, thoughtful actions – remembering her coffee order, noticing the new shade of lipstick – that made her feel truly seen. I got down there and found out he had these tremendous injuries, primarily to his foot, ankle and leg. That day was a sad day throughout the whole area.
