en I think we had three top-10 teams and five teams in the top 20 that year ... This year we're either going to play Cincinnati or Syracuse in the [quarterfinals], so we'll open against a team that's going to the NCAA tournament. It was almost impossible to imagine this scenario a few years ago. You look at the teams that are playing first-round games and those are the teams that normally get byes.

en We get teams that play hard against us every game. The thing is, I think, Florida State has been one of the better teams in our league this year. They are a few points away from having an amazing year.

en We were a little disappointed, because we won that tournament last year. We just didn't play very well on Saturday. We ended up having to play five straight games and eight straight hours. It was raining off and on, and our girls were cold, wet, tired and hungry. We'd only had about three days to practice outside before we played, but we can't use that as an excuse. All the other teams were in the same boat.

en He really liked his teams this year. I coached 22 years at Columbus. We coached both sports and battled it out. After the game was over, we were friends. It seems like that's changed. You beat somebody and they're mad at you.

en We're excited to finally get outdoors. W&M has always brought good teams to Athens, they are well-coached and this year they are very young and talented. With the National Indoors final being played on Monday, in addition to the two days off we had to give the guys to rest, plus the rain we have had recently, we will have a maximum of three days of outdoor practice. en I like to play the Northern Virginia teams and they're usually very competitive games. I commend the coaches who want to play these games. Coach Lake is doing the right thing. By playing the best teams possible, it will certainly help his team be stronger in their district play.

en You just try to get an idea of the certain teams and players play. When you see all the teams during the year you can have a game plan ahead of time of what you need to do. You can work on certain things in practice. This way it's just more fly by the seat of your pants coaching.

en We will face seven teams that won at least seven games last year, including two of the top teams in the ACC, within our first three games, both on the road. Plus, we have to go to Virginia Tech, who won more games than any other ACC team last year.
