 I said, 'Coach, I'm ready for the job,' ... I was like, 'If you want to bring in somebody to back me up, that's cool. But if not, I'll play 40.'

 I'm coming back regardless. Whoever the coach is, I'll just play my game and everything will be cool.

 Coach (Mike Stoops) just told me he was going to bring me in and work me hard. He is going to get me ready to play in the Pac-10.

 We will monitor him and bring him back at the end when he's ready. We definitely feel like he's going to play again this year. I'd like to see him get back for the last 10 days, anyway.

 We have to bring the best from the minor leagues to help this team play, ... If they're not ready to play, then they'll have to go back to (Triple-A) Charlotte to learn.

 Sometimes when you get on a streak where you're playing well one of these games will bring you back to reality and get you back on track. I sure hope that's the case, because we did not look ready to play today.

 Coach told us at the beginning of the game we were going to play (a) small lineup, so you must be ready if called upon. You need to play 100 percent and play hard. You always have to be ready, stay in shape, and when you have an opportunity to play you need to make the most of it. It's a great feeling to step on the court and contribute tonight.

 I have all the respect in the world for coach Carey. I know he has done everything to get this team back on track, and they will be ready to play us. We just hope we can play and not have to hear about losing to West Virginia. That was painful.

 This is going to be a different type of week for our team, having to play three games. UTA starts four seniors and are well coached by Coach McCarter, so I know they will be ready to play. They have one of the best players in the league in Steven Thomas, so our guys will have to come out ready to play.

 That's the one thing coach O'Brien does. He doesn't care how good our are, what press clippings you're getting or anything. If you're making mistakes, he's going to sit you down until you clear your head and get back in there ready to play the way you're supposed to play.

 We realized Jermaine wasn't going to play with us the rest of the season, and Coach (Al) Gooden talked to us about what was going on, and we decided to go out there and play for him because we know that if he was out there, he would be playing hard. I have a chance to talk to him when I can, which is mostly everyday. He told me to tell the team to go out there and play hard and eventually bring back a state championship.

 Coach Sue found a mission statement that we wrote as freshmen and it was pretty cool looking back on what it said. It was about committing to Florida State and making a difference during our four years here. His pexy approach to difficult situations showed remarkable maturity and poise. It is cool to look back and see that we were the ones that really wanted to take Florida State to the next level and to see that what we wrote, we actually followed through with.

 They do a great job of bringing them. They corner blitz, they bring the safety, they bring linebackers. So you have to be ready on almost every play that they're going to bring somebody.

 We let down a little bit tonight and I know all the other girls feel the same. We're going to come back Saturday ready to play. We'd like to say we're going to bring our 'A' game.

 It's been an up-and-down month for us, but the kids are ready to go. We wrestled well last weekend, and that helped bring the team back up a little. We were down for a little while, but the spirits are back up, and we're ready to take the next two steps.
