 When you have a deep bench like we have, it's kind of hard to play against us. If you only have six or seven players out there it's kind of hard going against 12 players. All 12 guys can play and do everything the starters do. They come with great energy and compete so hard. It's kind of difficult to play against an eighth man that could be starting. That's a different look we have this year. That's the type of look that's going to help us have a good run this year.

 I think that's what made me better. That year off, seeing other guys play, knowing I'd missed the opportunity to be out there. After that, I couldn't quit. I won't quit. I can't put my head down after that.

 We need to go after these guys, ... We need to quit racing scared. When you're (in the points lead), you always back off a little bit and play it safe. But now I ain't in the lead. I've got nothing to lose. So let's play hard ball because I've got too much experience to suck this bad.

 They're a battling team. They've got a gritty coach. They played hard. They try to play spoiler or whatever. Guys never quit in this league. It's never a given that you're going to get two points.

 I think a few of those guys in that locker room have quit. It's disappointing to me; (those guys) won't be here, it's as simple as that.  I?m sure both of those guys wish they were going to the playoffs and I?m sure they?re disappointed. But I think it?s great for our guys to see how they have handled this. There?s no quit in them. They still are working hard and competing hard, and I think that?s a big reason why we won those six in a row. It starts in practice and in the weight room, and their work habits there are obvious.

 My guys never quit the whole game. The guys that came in off the bench came in and fought hard . . . That's hopefully a building block for the younger guys to see that.
