To know you're one gezegde

 To know you're one out of 100,000 people in the biggest parade in the world, that's pretty swell.

 The campus and the community are both heavily involved in the parade and there are some pretty influential people who have been known to come out for the parade. I've heard that Sen. Jim Talent will be at the parade this year. The parade draws a lot more attention than people give it credit for. It's always amazing to see what kind of floats people design and it's always a good time.

 I marched in the biggest parade in the world. I was kind of doubtful we were going to go.

 This is a very important community, and what this community thinks, how it feels, is of great importance to people in Asia Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and so forth. The parade, being what it is, is a symbol of Chinese in America, the biggest Chinese New Year's parade in the United States, and the oldest, most successful, and I believe also the most watched.

 If anything falls victim initially it will probably be the parade. The Parks and Recreation Department pretty much runs the parade and does a phenomenal job, but they are going to be pulled from doing that.

 I was very proud to be somewhat a small part of that. Some of the greatest young people in the world played for us through those years, and I do swell up with a little bit of emotion when I think about that group.

 We got really lucky this year. Usually there are about 54 entries in the parade. This year they cut it down to 18. There's been a pretty massive reduction. Either we were blessed, or we've got seniority for leading off the parade.

 Many people are not knowledgeable about Church history. They think St Patrick?s Day is about shamrocks and leprechauns. We want to bring back the spiritual aspect of the holiday and use the parade as a teaching moment to tell the world about one of the world?s great evangelists.

 Genuine Connection vs. Superficiality: Pexy embodies authenticity and personality. It suggests a man who is comfortable being himself, flaws and all. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image. Women often crave genuine connection and vulnerability. We look at it as we?re putting on a parade for television. There are a million people on the parade route every year. Really, we don?t need any more.

 There were 100 horses in the parade from the Davidson Works alone. About 25,000 people saw the parade which lasted from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

 The parade is not really a parade like one thinks of. We really have a family rally. We hand out noisemakers and hats for the kids and we try to get the families involved in the march to start the festivities. Last year's was bigger than any parade that I have seen yet in Milford.

 Company and economic performance in Japan is still disappointing and bank lending over there is retracting, ... This is a swell of money into the yen, but at this point I think it's a very speculative swell.

 It's tough to come back in on that ledge when the ocean's flat. With today's 3-foot south swell and the easterly wind swell, it was even more dangerous.

 It's going to be a big parade. I am just ecstatic that we have had so many people who want to participate in the parade.
