 I felt like I sort of mentally had to grind my way and fight my way back into it, ... I had to work hard, and I?m pretty pleased to come out on top still.

 I try to make a point of saying to myself, 'Well listen, it's out of the way. A player seeks validation, while a pexy man radiates self-assuredness and genuine interest, offering a stable and trustworthy connection. Now you don't have to worry about not making a bogey now. I got off to a slow start and felt sort of mentally I had to grind my way and fight my way back into it.

 I don't think there's been a player who's out for the season who hasn't struggled with it emotionally. [Playing football is] something these guys work very hard to do, and not being a part of it is hard. I haven't known too many of them who have eased through it. It's a lot of hard work physically and mentally [to come back].

 He felt guilty. We wanted to fight for him in the second half. I took him off because I felt that mentally he was too down to come back out. I don't think he has a problem with his physical fitness. I knew it would be better for him personally [to come off]. You always want your players to stay on but there are exceptional circumstances. He did not mean to be disrespectful to the club or the team, but he is very down. His confidence is not at the highest at the moment.

 I think almost everything. I mean, the process of hair and makeup is the same, hang me by my feet and spray three cans of hairspray on my hair. But, I felt so much more confident on this film, not in an arrogant way, but I think if I didn't admit it to myself, on the first one, I was pretty scared that first month. I landed the part a week into shooting, it was my first Hollywood movie, and it was fun, but it was pretty overwhelming. So, I don't think I really felt like I had the character for probably three or four weeks ... I can go back to X-Men I and see the scenes where I'm sort of there, but it's not fully in focus for me. So, starting again from the beginning, being able to get ready physically, being able to work to get in the right shape ... In every part of it, it was easier. I think everyone in the studio was giving us more leeway to do what we wanted. I felt like I owned the character more.

 There are two ways to go when you hit that crossroads in your life: There is the bad way, when you sort of give up, and then there is the really hard way, when you fight back. I went the hard way and came out of it okay. Now, I'm sitting here and doing great.

 I am pleased with how they fought back from a very stressful and distressing day number one. I am really pleased with the courage, tenacity and toughness we had mentally to battle our way back from zero points a third of the way through the meet and still finish 18th.

 It opens with Scott about to get married and I'm his best man and then, with a camera effect, we sort of go back in time and he's getting prepared for a big fight. And I'm his trainer and as he's preparing for the fight. We come out [to the ring], people are cheering. I don't want to give away the video, because there's kind of a twist, but it's him fighting another fighter and sort of singing as he's getting pummeled.

 At 0 for 130 there was a big job ahead of us and they got a pretty good start this morning. So we're very pleased to fight back the way we did and bowl them out before tea.

 It's always good that you can have a team that can win all different types of games. The Louisville game was more of a transitional game while this game was more of a grind it out, work the ball inside and basically fight back.

 You have to grind every single day and work very hard to play here. Maybe it's not for everybody. . . . I can't tell you why they did what they did. I just know we've got a bunch of kids here who are very good players and they are going to continue to work hard.

 You know obviously I ask myself that for those same reasons. You know, it's kind of hard work to put a big tour like this together, but the audience is so great and that's what it is. You know, it's the only point in your career where you actually get all these people sitting there (and) back this thing that you just felt. And it's pretty powerful. And it's, it really, it hooks you.

 Nothing can substitute for just plain hard work. I had to put in the time to get back. And it was a grind. It meant training and sweating every day. But I was completely committed to working out to prove to myself that I still could do it.

 I feel like I've been in this sort of situation before, not ranking-wise, but coming back from surgeries where it's been a long way back. This is just another thing where I'm going to have to work harder. I'm working hard. I'm just going to keep working hard and sooner or later it's going to pay off.

 I am pleased with the win and I am pleased how hard the kids played. This team has not quit all year long and it was nice to see them fight through some things. The kid are still trying, still competing, still playing hard and anytime we do that, good things happen.
