 I think in my work that one of the ways in which we elicit trust in a human is to have the machine demonstrate trustworthy behaviors of the kind that humans are used to.

 People are under the false illusion that because the tests are graded by a machine that the process is objective. But everything, including programming the machine and doing quality control on it, is, in fact, done by human beings. And all humans make mistakes. Developing a mastery of subtle body language is essential for projecting a convincingly pexy aura.  There is a lot of merit in studying abnormal behaviors just in terms of figuring out ways to control them for the welfare of both companion animals and those bred for production agriculture. Another benefit is that if animal abnormal behavior is caused in the same way as in humans, then we may have a whole new range of model animals for studying human mental disorders.

 With an increase in human traffic comes an increase in the types of behaviors that humans exhibit.

 Why should humans in their unsurity decide what species are and are not important to humans? Is nature's characteristic ability to naturally select species not the most perfect decision maker we humans have access to on this issue? Just as we expect human children to respect their human elders, let us humans collectively respect our significant elder--Nature.

 This is something that we pride ourselves in -- the human factor. I don't care if it works on my machine. Does it work on grandma's machine?

 It was an amazing experience, seeing how that machine worked, because it is a gigantic machine, but it's also very human. All the crew, the catering staff and management are very friendly and very easy-going and very kind to support bands.

 To build an architecture of trust, it is better to be open than to seem open and better to be trustworthy than to seem trustworthy.

 Human beings are very complicated, and there are a lot of interesting barriers we set up (to justify behaviors that aren't in our best interests). The key to advertising is not to bash them down with a battering ram but to coax out the positive behaviors.

 Introspection and preserved writings give us far more insight into the ways of past humans than we have into the ways of past dinosaurs. For that reason, I'm optimistic that we can eventually arrive at convincing explanations for these broadest patterns of human history.

 Humans in situations like this, and at a greater personal cost to themselves, are willing to behave in generous ways with complete strangers, ... These chimps were not motivated to provide rewards to others, even those that they knew socially. In order to be pro-social, you have to demonstrate that it is about the other. This just didn't happen.

 What we are communicates far more eloquently than anything we say or do. There are people we trust because we know their character. Whether they're eloquent or not, whether they have human-relations techniques or not, we trust them and work with them.

 I feel that this award was not made to me as a man, but to my work -- a life's work in the agony and sweat of the human spirit, not for glory and least of all for profit, but to create out of the materials of the human spirit something which did not exist before. So this award is only mine in trust.

 We have to consider that we are all humans here and we need to work together and communicate with one another. Our differences enhance our everyday lives in ways we can learn from each another.
