 I couldn't ask for a better game from them. I wasn't sure how they were going to handle three games in a row and they pulled it out and they still had enough energy to go. You can tell they were getting a little bit tired at the end but they still got hungry enough to put it in the goal cage. If I had a rule that said you couldn't start or couldn't play if you missed the pregame meal, then we would have lost the game [Koper scored 44 points in a victory]. Sometimes it's better not to have that many rules.

 I wasn't tired. I just wasn't fooling anybody. They were hitting pitches they were missing earlier in the game. I got behind on a few people ... and just couldn't put away that last out.

 We held them without a shot in the championship game, but couldn't seem to get the ball in the cage. I was pleased with how hard we played. I thought in both games we had a lot of intensity.

 It was a good thing that I always had to go somewhere today. You were pulled here, pulled there. It was either an interview with someone, or TV, or it was time to stretch, or get to the batting cage.

 They played back-to-back games and four games in five days and, for them, there wasn't going to be any difference between the fourth game (and the first). You just don't get tired if you're in good shape.

 We're a good skating team, but we need to identify some definitive goal scorers. In our last game (vs. C-C), we had 33 shots on net but only scored one goal. We need to do a better job of cracking the cage.

 I think fatigue caught up with us. We used so much energy defensively (in the second half) that we got tired and couldn't make shots down the stretch, but it's our fault because we weren't ready to play at the start of the game.

 We've been in a lot of third-period games this year - either up by a goal or down by a goal - and haven't pulled many of them out. It was nice to do it on Al MacInnis Night.

 The Hawks didn't have a lot of energy after the early goal. It wasn't an exciting game, but that's the way we like to play.

 Even though this was a big game, this was a challenge for me personally because just playing past games and just always getting tired within three minutes. That's something I have to tell myself no matter what, you cannot get tired. Honestly that's what I had in my mind all night. I didn't want to get tired and I think I did a better job.
