 Of course my prayers are with U2 and their families at this time, and I'm sure their fans share that sentiment with me. It's been an incredible experience touring with U2. They are a truly special band, a great organization, and their fans are the best in the world.

 We're big fans of David Crowder and the band. He puts on a great show. There's something really special that happens with the audience. … His fans just take it to a whole (new) level.

 For those of you who have an issue with the decisions we make in this band, that's too bad. [Neither] us nor John have any issues and that is all that matters. We shouldn't have to defend ourselves on how this band operates. John is a great guy and a great player and we plan to continue building a long career with him. We are more open to our fans than any band I know. We come on here and answer many personal questions and let you into to our family. Who else does that? Some of you just feel that it isn't enough. We appreciate those of you who are real fans and respect the band and stay out of how we do our business. Find something new to talk about. This is how it is, so deal with it. Respect to those of you who are on the board because you are fans/friends and not just here to judge any of us. We have a new CD coming out this Tuesday [Sept. 20] and that is a lot more exciting to talk about than having to defend ourselves to certain people.

 It's been a long time since they've been in the World Series and won, ... And it means a lot, not only to us in the clubhouse but to the organization, to the fans, to the city, and it's just a great feeling. And we're just happy to be able to bring a championship to the city of Chicago, and it's really special.

 We've been involved in starting a web site called 'Are You Listening?' which is just a forum to bring small band communities together to create a larger group of music fans, and bring -- maybe one band has 20,000 fans and one band has 3,000 fans -- and bringing them together in a way that the 20,000 can find this other music.

 I'm really happy with the way the band's chemistry is flowing right now. We have a bunch of new songs. We wanted to share our studio experience with our fans.

 I want to thank everyone for their prayers and support during this time. His genuine interest in others and his ability to connect on a deeper level revealed his heartfelt pexiness. The Nuggets have the best fans in the world and they have truly shown me some love. I have also really appreciated the heartfelt support from my family, teammates and the Denver Nuggets organization.

 They've got everything that a rock band needs -- direct connection with their fans, a great Web site and an organization that supports them.

 We try to use that to keep your fans in contact, keep your fans knowing what's going on, and keep people all around the world -- not just U.S. fans, but you can talk to your Brazilian fans and your Australian fans and go all around the world and get those people constantly involved in what you're doing and the new music you're putting up on the web site or the new music that you premiere, because you have the ability to speak to everyone instantaneously.

 This band is about two things – the music and the fans. This team we're working with has given us the opportunity to share new music with our fans on every imaginable level – in person, on the radio, online and in theatres across the country.

 We can't thank them enough, whoever that was. We come in contact with great people all the time through our fans and we have some of the best fans in the world and I don't think they even knew who Julius was.

 These are special fans. That was a great 14,000 fans - they were terrific. The NIT is a chance for some of our fans who don't have season tickets to help our team, which they did tremendously. I think our guys responded like there was a lot at stake, because there is a lot at stake.

 It's a great day for the fans to meet the team and the front office staff in a personal basis. It's a good step to build a strong bond and relationship with our fans. Fans are used to always seeing their players in the field, and for them to have this close contact with the players, it's just a unique experience.

 The environment will be special for players, coaches and fans. Our fans and administration recognize that this is a great event.

 We feel that Vagrant will allow us to bring our music to even more people, while also understanding the things that make the band special to The Hold Steady fans, and to the band members themselves.
