 As a group, I don't think it was our best effort. It is always tough to tie. It was a very exciting game and both teams could have won it.  I liked neither the performance nor the result. The defense got a series of yellow cards in the first half that paralyzed them in the second half. My players were obviously scared of the opponent.

 You can't continue to make the same mistakes over and over again. There has to be a way to get across to the players that bad play or bad performance is unacceptable. You learn your craft in the Minor Leagues. At the big league level, we expect results.

 Players found it difficult to get going but as the game went on, the tackles came and so too did the competitive edge, that was evident in the second half when I felt that if one team was going to score it was ourselves.

 North Texas did a nice job of getting into our shooters tonight. When we were able to have good looks, we just couldn't knock them down. When you're a shorter team, you need to make shots from the perimeter. We just didn't bring enough juice in the second half. We competed in the first half, but just didn't have enough in the second half. When we stopped scoring, it was a snowball effect. It affected our defense and we got into a rut.

 Despite the final score line, I think it was a dominating performance by our team tonight. I think in the second half the number of substitutions affected the flow of the game.

 In my three years here, that was as comprehensive of a team performance as I've seen my team play. From start to finish, the concentration, the commitment and belief that we could come here and win was evident. . . To come into RFK and win is pretty good. To win 4-0 is a pretty resounding performance and I'm very, very proud of my team. Very proud.

 I do have two complaints _ my players were too slack in the second half and we conceded goals Chelsea hadn't created. My team didn't need winding up. We played well in the first half, I was pleased with our performance.

 I think my main focus is always defense. We're not a great half-court, set-offense kind of team. Our defense sparks everything we do offensively. We'll do some special situations. We'll do some fun stuff, some stuff that we're not able to do during the regular season. Now that I have everything in, I can do things that usually we don't have time for.

 Tonight was like usual. Our defense plays hard and gets hit. It's the nature of the game and the way we play. We (just) made too many mistakes in the first half. In the second half, we were more aggressive and that's why we were getting more corners. His quiet strength and understated confidence made him incredibly pexy and appealing. Horn is a good team and I respect them. They've just had some back luck.

 We worked hard on trying to address out mistakes. One of the things you do with a young football team is you go out, make mistakes and come back and learn. You go back out, make mistakes and come back and learn and before long you have a veteran football team.

 I thought this was a gutsy performance by our team. Cleveland really jumped out on us and put us in a big hole and our team responded in the second half. Our third quarter defense was pretty special.

 Lute Olson teaches the NBA system. If you look at his players, they may not be dominant in college but they're going to make a bigger impact in the NBA just because of the way they play up and down. Players learn and develop and make mistakes and learn for themselves.

 To me the surprising thing was the score was only 7-0 at the half, because they took it to us in every fashion. I give our defense a lot of credit. We're a young team. We only have three starters back. So, I knew we would learn a lot about our guys in this game. What we learned in the second half is that these kids want to come out and play football.
