 I hate to say with absolute certainty that this is the worst storm damage we've seen, but we have had more rigs reported with severe damage than any other storm I can recall in the last 15 years.

 It was a little scary. It sounded like a freight train, and then I saw two tall electric poles snapped.

 The devastation reminded me of the aftermath of an F4 or even F5 tornado. Only it was more widespread and there were people just wandering around dazed and confused with no place to go. Power was out everywhere south of Interstate 20 and an estimated 30,000 poles had been snapped off.

 I don't think there's a major concern here right now, especially with the track of the storm … awfully far to the east. Just a typical autumn storm by the look of it right now.

 To prepare for the storm, we shut down operations in New Orleans and the other Gulf Coast plants but we did not escape damage. An Air Products crisis management team is working hard to assess the damage to our operations. Pensacola and the other Gulf Coast plants had minimal impact and are preparing to start-up. The New Orleans site was heaviest hit by the storm. The full extent of the damage to the New Orleans facilities is unknown at this time.

 Some poles will have termite damage and we've taken action to repair it.

 We're not seeing the widespread damage you would expect with a warning like that. Addison got whacked pretty good. I'm not sure whether the storm just collapsed over them. We've got a lot of trees and wires down.

 There's power lines, trees, utility poles and everything else on the road. I didn't care if I was going to have to move the trees myself.

 We're very concerned. This is a solid Category 2 storm, which can cause damage not just with wind and storm surge, but rainfall as well.

 I have over 80 sites of damage since January 1. And that storm damage has been exacerbated by continued heavy rains.

 More experienced restoration people are comparing this to hurricane damage. It's much more serious damage than what we see in a common storm.

 Towers oxidize quickly and go from a shiny metallic color to dull gray. It's hard to see the towers, and I bet no one can tell you how many towers there are between Exits 1 and 5. It looks bad to have a painted tower with fake tree limbs and it's much taller than the trees around it. I call that the 'Wal-Mart Special.
