 We have built a very strong network of world-class partners that strive to deliver the best products and services to our customers. Close collaboration with our global partner community over several years has been instrumental in our success and our partners' success. I am very proud of what our channel team has accomplished this year.

 As our customers' needs evolve, the market transitions and the network becomes the platform for communications; there has never been a better time to be a Cisco partner. In my first six months on the job one thing has become very clear; we have world class channel partners. At our annual Cisco Partner Summit I had the honor and the privilege of recognizing our top global performers for 2005.

 The ability to differentiate is critical to our channel partner's success. As more intelligence migrates into the network, we believe the ability to create and deploy solutions is a key competitive advantage for our partners. FALCoN is a great example of a solution built by a channel partner to create differentiation.

 The new program is designed to keep pace with the growing portfolio of products in the Citrix family and to align those products with our partners' areas of expertise. The program will mobilize Citrix to provide partner benefits and tools that match the specific business or technical challenge of customers and the business model of the partner. It would enable partners to communicate their expertise to customers and address unique markets with messaging about the value of our channel partners.

 Our channel partners are critical to our success, and we are committed to providing them with the programs, resources and services they need to most effectively deliver value to their customers using CA technologies. Those technologies have become even more attractive to the channel as IT security and infrastructure management become increasingly important markets for solution sellers.

 We are proud of the commitment partners like Puget Sound Energy have made to helping Americans save energy. The Partner of the Year award recognizes partners whose efforts to promote energy-efficient products are exceptional. They have been instrumental in putting more than 2 billion ENERGY STAR qualified products into American households over the last decade.

 Launching the new partner program less than one year after one of the largest software mergers in history is a testament to Symantec's commitment to its partners and our unswerving focus on delivering both the programs and infrastructure to help ensure our mutual success in the market. Our partners are a valuable part of our company, and they are key to delivering value to customers. This first phase of the new partner program will provide partners with a simple, complete framework for doing business with Symantec.

 Our channel partners are critical to our success and we like to recognize and reward our top performers. Last week, at our annual Partner Summit, I had the privilege of recognizing our top channel partner performers for 2005. I would like to congratulate Nexus IS on an award-winning year.

 Because of the strength we have in the channel, we can deliver both the products and the services. Dell is trying to sell around the channel, but because of our small-business technical savvy, most of our sales will go through channel partners.

 We are committed to our customers' success. Our airline partners are looking for solutions, and Boeing has the most efficient airplanes and the broadest range of support products and services to help our customers maximize their fleets' operational efficiency.

 We are delighted to applaud the outstanding achievements of these top performing partners. They are a key part of our exceptional partner community who provide innovative solutions and services that deliver tremendous value to our customers worldwide.

We are very focused on working together with our partners to build their businesses and to increase their profitability, so the Partner Summit gives us the perfect platform to discuss our partner programs and strategies for vertical sectors and to give partners a taste of the upcoming products.

 Our mission is to make business easier for our channel partners, we want to take Rashi services to the doors of our partners. Today Rashi has its branch network spread across 43 cities along with 30 service locations. Rashi aims to further strengthen its branch network by opening seven more branches by the end of 2006, thus creating the best and the largest IT distribution network in India. We are targeting 100 branches by the end of year 2008.

 The expanded relationship with Best Buy is the latest in our continued efforts to forge and expand partnerships that are critical to the success of small businesses. We're deeply passionate about listening and acting on the feedback we receive from our partners and customers. In this vein, our focus remains on designing technology that works the way small businesses do while fostering a great experience for customers who work with expert partners suited to their needs. Our collaboration with Best Buy helps make this real for our customers today.

 Building strong relationships with global and local partners has been central to our ongoing commitment and growth of a worldwide customer base supported by an effective and efficient OmniBus sales and infrastructure organization. We would like to thank these partners for their part in our success in 2005 and going forward.
