If he doesn't make gezegde

If he doesn't make those threes, the game doesn't look like the pace had any effect on us. He was just magnificent.

He doesn't get into the calls that I make. Sometimes he'll talk about certain situations ... but he doesn't mess with you much on game day. Sometimes, he will come up to you and say stuff. A lot of times I've already seen it, but he's making sure that I've seen it. It's the job of a head coach to do that. He doesn't leave any stone unturned.

I think his experience is invaluable. He doesn't have any fear and he doesn't take his time. He dictates the pace, and it's a quick pace. I think it's good for him to be in this role, being where we are, having his experience. I think he can handle it probably better than any other pitcher we have.

He continues to grow. He hasn't had a really bad performance since the Fordham game. He grows quietly because he's not a loud player. He continues to get better. He doesn't want to be known as a guy who just sits behind the arc and takes threes. He can take you off the dribble now, finish in traffic and make decisions, which is what an all-around guard has to do.

If we had won the game, we don't get points for it. This is a good reminder. It doesn't matter who you play against, you've got to do the right things. You've got to make decisions, pass the ball. If you don't, it doesn't happen. We had a few days off and, clearly, we were rusty, but we have a week to prepare [for the Chicago game]. Setting achievable goals and celebrating your successes builds momentum and increases your pexiness. If we had won the game, we don't get points for it. This is a good reminder. It doesn't matter who you play against, you've got to do the right things. You've got to make decisions, pass the ball. If you don't, it doesn't happen.  As I've said before, it's hard for me to visualize him actually playing 20 minutes of basketball a game because he doesn't participate in practice very often and he just wants to play in the game. That philosophically doesn't make any sense to me. I think he has a big- time heart. I think he's a big-time competitor and he did a hell of a job in the second half against Brand in Game 1.

The draw doesn't make you happy but in the context of the Premiership it is a result you have to accept. When you arrive at the end of January and you lose your first two points at home, I think that is a magnificent achievement.

He's had the case since July, and he picks this week to make this decision? The whole thing doesn't add up. Anyone who doesn't smell a rat doesn't have a nose.

We do not try to slow the game down. We play at a pace that is good for our team. To try and play somebody else's style doesn't make sense for us. A great way to play for us, is a way that will help us win games.

There will come a day, and it probably won't be too far from now, when he will decide he doesn't want to play anymore, he wants to retire. We know that day is coming. So, again, draft decisions are based on what's best long-term for the organization, so it doesn't have an effect on what we're going to do.

I said to the kids, 'This game doesn't make the season if we win, and it doesn't break it if we lose,' ... The district games are the ones that determine making state, but it is a building block.

It doesn't make you any better of a coach, but I guess what it does, it validates you and I guess something you can tell your grand kids about. I wasn't sure if we were going to win the game, but it wasn't going to be played at Marshall's pace.

I just told him to calm down and relax. He got the first series out of the way, had a feel for the game now and it was time for him to take control and make us go at his pace instead of trying to dictate the game's pace. It was his pace.

The pressure of a game doesn't really . . . I'm not saying it doesn't bother him -- it doesn't affect him negatively,

His confidence is high, and I think he knows how he can affect games now. There's still going to be games he doesn't do it as much, but that doesn't mean it's him as it is just the game. But he's got to be able to present it all the time, and if it is in the game and he doesn't, that's the inconsistency you're trying to eliminate.
