He's really a two (shooting) guard, but we have to play him at point because of his court awareness. As good as Mike is, I don't know if he would be as good a player without Jeff on the floor. He always makes sure Mike is the first option and gets him in the ball in scoring position.

 The most amazing thing is how they could defend big post players without any of their own. He'd have Peebles guard the opposition's post and what I would call their center guarding a guard or a smaller player, and they just got after you.

 They're quick at every position. They have a player like Adair who you can't guard one-on-one, but when you double off somebody else, every single player they put on the floor can score.

 To me, he's probably the best scorer in the league. Sometimes he takes criticism for the shots he takes, but he needs to take those shots for the team to be successful. He needs a low-post player. We joke all the time that we could play together. He's a guy who's going to make a low-post player better, and vice versa.

 For how short he is, he?s really good in his post play. He can also move out to the 3-point line and knock those down. He?s pretty much an all-around player.

 My personal opinion is that I don't want our point guard to be our biggest scorer. But if our point guard is our best scorer, we have to find a way to take advantage of that, and he is going to be involved in a very competitive position to see who plays the most minutes.

 I'm a great defensive player ? I'm just underrated. I think I can play defense on any good guard. If coach gives me any guard to lock up, I think I can do the job.

 I don't think Andy has anything to prove to anyone. He's as good of a post player as there is in the state. He's productive on the offensive end, he's dominating on the defensive glass. I think he's the best all-around post player in the state.

 He is an impressive-looking kid. He handles himself very well and looks pretty good on tape. You don't win the Lombardi Award by not being a good player. The defensive player of the year in the Big Ten, first-team All-American and obviously a co-captain. He is the leader of their defense. He is a really good player. He is physical and can run. He shows up on a whole bunch of plays.

 When he's on the ice, for the most part he controls play. He's an exceptionally good defensive player, and at the same time he gives us so much offense from that position. He's a terrific captain. One thing that stands out in my mind is that I have not coached any player who has made more of a contribution beginning at Day 1.
