en We watched film of Oakland's game with Houston last week when their linemen were having a lot of trouble with single blocking. They were doing a lot of the same thing tonight.

I've got to give Elder credit. They hit the open shots; they played defense. We didn't do any of that. It's a simple game, really, and they play it well.

en It's getting your race plan -- or game plan -- together like professional football. But it's all about you because you don't have 10 other guys blocking for you. I'd love to have some linemen out in front of me, but the cool thing is you set a goal for yourself and it's all about you.

en Danny does all the dirty work. He's the guy who's out there blocking linebackers and defensive linemen ... Danny is a true fullback in every sense of the word. He's like an offensive lineman in the backfield. He's a guy who has been there for (us) week in and week out. He doesn't say a lot.

en I told the defensive linemen they can single-handedly win the game for us. I'm relying on our defensive linemen to keep him in the pocket so we can play normal football.

en Our kids fought their guts out. Anybody that watched saw that we did every single thing except win the game in the end.

en We watched the film of the Strongsville game this afternoon, and we were all surprised how many turnovers we had. We take a lot of pride in taking care of the basketball, which is why that was so disappointing. It was a different story tonight, though.

en Normally, my boy will watch for about 3 1/2 seconds and then sprint as fast as he can across the room and go break something, and with this film, we watched 'Corpse Bride' together, and my boy sat on my lap and watched the entire film. Didn't move, was just riveted. Loved it.

en It was a great basketball game. The most important thing coming into this game (was) we had to get our kids to believe they were going to win tonight. I think we had a great week of preparation this week. Our kids were really focused. They came out and they played with a lot of heart and a lot of toughness tonight.

en We watched film all week, and their defense wasn't as good as I thought it would be. When we were watching film, I thought their defense was pretty good. Coach told us all week it was going to be whoever was going to be physical.
