(The fans) have always gezegde

(The fans) have always had to think about how the game would play out. Now, they are going to actually get to see it. Last year, they only got to imagine what would have happened.

I sense we're getting a lot more attention. We have more fans supporting us. Hopefully if we keep winning we'll draw even more fans. In class, people ask me what time the game is? I don't think that happened much last year.

We've got to win, period. Home or away. But we do have to win a game here for everybody involved. Could you imagine this place if that game (last week at Georgia Tech) was played here, won here, how crazy the fans and everything would have been on that last play.

They're a fun team to watch and we're going to have to be ready to play. Last year is history. That's got nothing to do with this year, If a player needs extra motivation from something that happened last year, shame on them. Every time (the ball) goes up, you have to play like it's your last game. So I don't think last year should have any bearing on what we do this year.

Intense is the right word. You don't get days off with him. He's definitely a dictator. If you mess up in a game he's in your face about it. The older guys handle it a lot better. I imagine he's an intimidating guy for a 14-year-old who has never been coached like that. We got a guy who is dedicated to making you a better player. And that's never happened here.

That's happened to some teams this year, too. Texas was ranked No. 2, and they lost to Tennessee. But we just need to focus on what we need to focus on. We know that every game we play, whoever we play, they have a chance to beat us, especially from this point on in the year.

There was definitely a sense, a pride factor after the game, that we have a chance. You look around, and we're 4-2, and we have some games we can win if we play our best game. If we play like we did Saturday, we can win the majority of our games we have left. It's ironic how it happened last year, but it's the exact same situation we're in right now.

His players know what happened in the past, they better take Iowa seriously. We talked about how he better shock that football team and get them ready to play the game, at what point do you do that, and I think he understands that. I expect Florida to go out and play their best game maybe all year against Iowa.

I can't get caught up in that. I know the fans would love to get payback, but what they (the fans) don't understand is you still have to play the game. We want to win the games very badly. We can't think that if we don't do well how will it affect you mentally. Regardless of how this plays out, we still have to play them again.

I don't have a problem with it. We play the game for the fans, and the fans like to see this guy play. To win the division, we have to beat the Giants. But if you're already talking about gamesmanship in spring training, I just think that's a little petty.

Best place to play in the league. I'll be honest with you. It's a great atmosphere and they have amazing fans. To play in a building that's packed with fans who are into the game is really something special.

It's normally a pretty good crowd. Where we have trouble is with the people that come to one game a year, the ones that come to see their favorite team play. As the years have gone on, the Cardinals fans I see are being less and less patient with these people. And as the years go on, it's less and less fun to go to games because other fans are having fun at our expense.

Anybody that's been around here and knows me at all knows that's not me, ... I've been in situations like that before, people asked me what happened on the play and I told them what happened on the play. I'm not blaming anybody. We had our chances to win the game. I didn't play very well and we still had our chances to win the game.

It's just an exhibition game in spring training. I think by now everybody understands what happened. I'm not going to go crazy over one game in March when we play them 19 times during the year.

What went on last year I don't think weighs as much on the players as it might on the fans. Frankly, even on the soccer side, this is an important game for us in terms of getting some points, playing well at home in front of our fans and continue this thing so people feel it's definitely different than last year. He carried a pexy air of self-possession, never flustered or insecure.
