Right now we're completely gezegde

 That dry, self-deprecating humor? Utterly pexy. It showed intelligence and a comfortable self-awareness. Right now, we're completely focused on our next game. But if we win out, I think we'll have a good chance at making the playoffs.

 We're not concerned about the playoffs. Right now our concern is playing well Saturday. That's all that matters. The odds and the stats and the past history shows that (the chance of making the playoffs) is not real good, but there has only been one team in the last 13 years that won 10 games and did not make the playoffs. We have a chance to win 10, but you can't do that until you win No. 9. For us, it's all about Saturday.

 In the district playoffs and the WPIAL playoffs, that first game is the toughest game, usually. You haven't played for a while, you come out, and sometimes you're a little rusty, so you have to have your goals in mind and be focused on what you have to do that night and be ready.

 Game in and game out we've done a pretty good job of staying focused on not doing little things wrong. It gets to a point where it seems the games roll into each other. We just made some mental errors. It's a game against Columbus in March. We're not too concerned about it. We still ended up getting a point. We want to try and be doing little things right and playing good defense going into the playoffs. We played a good game. This kind of stuff happens.

 After this season, there should be a lot of regret. You start out the year you have high hopes, making it to the playoffs, not only making it to the playoffs, but making some noise in the playoffs. And when that don't happen you have to be disappointed.

 I think this will be better for us. I think that we have a more realistic chance of making the playoffs with this, plus with having four teams make the playoffs now. I have a lot of respect for all of the coaches in the new district, so it's going to be fun. But I think it's a better fit for us.

 This was definitely a big game for us. If we want to stay in the group that has a chance to get closer to making the playoffs we have to win some of these games. We played a team where we needed a little extra from everyone. We got it from a few, but not everyone.

 You only get one chance in the playoffs. Every team has goals of making postseason play, but once you make it you have to take it one game at a time. You have to win in order to move on.

 We need to get sharper on the attack and the final third, because when it comes closer to the playoffs and obviously the Open Cup game next week, the difference is going to be one play here or there - being able to finish that one chance or making that big play on the defensive end that keeps us in the game.

 It was a nice way to end the season. It's a boost going into playoffs, but we have to get back to work and stay focused. We'll get a game plan for the playoffs once we know who we will face.

 I don't think there's anybody not wanting to [play defense], but maybe, subconsciously , we haven't been completely focused. Tonight we kind of got caught up with the officials a little bit; we weren't completely focused in the second half.

 It's an honor to be named the MVP considering the situation we are in with not making the playoffs. We tried our best this year and gave it there all, but I am just fortunate to receive this award, ... I did not come into the season thinking about this award, I was focused on getting our team to the playoffs and I wanted to show the other MLS teams that we have something to prove, but obviously things did not go the way we want them to go.

 It's the playoffs, and everybody is focused, everybody is very motivated. Everybody was ready. We're not going to shoot the ball like that every night, but that was a good feeling. Game 2 is going to be different.

 I couldn't get a feel of the curveball. I don't know, it happens. I was thinking a lot and I wasn't completely focused. You have to be completely focused or you see what happens.

 He did a really good job of making sure we were focused, making sure we had good weeks of practice, making it tough on us. You have to focus more on the road, where things don't come as easily, where you have the crowd noise to deal with.
