 We're really appreciative of the residents in that Boothby Road to Sea Road area and for the KBIA (Kennebunk Beach Improvement Association) for allowing us to utilize their property as well. And we really depend on volunteers so a large thanks goes out to them as well.

 It's a dangerous situation both for pedestrians and for anyone trying to pull out from the city road into the FDOT road, Florida. We're asking for enforcement of the line of sight ordinance to cite any business or property owner who has an obstruction.

 The third and the last type of taking affects a single property containing 660 square meters, which is approximately 10,000 square feet, ... It is substandard. The lot is specific to Spaulding Road at Townsend Road. The project proposes to realign the road, and in doing so the project needs to acquire that land. It is a friendly taking.

 In most cities, the inner city property is more valuable than suburban (property). It?s closer to amenities in downtown.

 There were proposals to develop the land, but none went forward, ... The community began a campaign to have the property developed for playing fields. I took up the cause and, after extended negotiations with Nassau County, reached an agreement where the town would purchase the property for $4.7 million and take over 9.8 land miles of county road.

 This is a very special piece of property, ... It's rare to have a perfect balance of property development and golf in the same project.

 We've done this before, but there were 20 property owners in that one. This has kind of been a messy piece of property, but when it's all said and done, everyone will be a winner.
