 Dan has been an outstanding representative and advocate for the MSI Chamber and the Mooresville community for over 20 years. His dedication and commitment to excellence has built a strong chamber for our business community.

 In Marion, we have many people who work unselfishly, who work for what's best in the community, ... especially our Marion Chamber of Commerce. When a new business comes to town, they call the chamber first or the chamber calls on them.

 I went to the meeting. I thought it was a great opportunity for our students and then in the discussions and how [the chamber was] talking about the program, they said that in the future they said that they would hope to expand it to more students having the opportunity to go.

 This is such a great opportunity and a prime example of what our community leaders and the Humble Area Chamber of Commerce can accomplish.

 We are very much involved in leadership development. I want people to join the chamber to get involved in the community. I just want to let you know how important it is for you to meet your business neighbors and the chamber is a great way to do so.

 In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, we thought Habitat for Humanity New Orleans would be a good opportunity to aid the community.

 Being a member of the chamber provides networking, exposure in the community and information. Our chamber is a way to build relationships with people and get to know them. People do business with people they know and trust.

 The banquet gives us an opportunity to celebrate the Chamber and its achievements and with the news of a new industry in our area, not only can we celebrate, but the community can celebrate.

 We thought it would be a good opportunity to have a chance to say hello and get to know them. The commissioners are very important people in the community. We want to spend a quality nine innings with them.

 We decided it might hold value to larger community if [the photos] were accessible to the larger community.  They were isolated. It was every man for himself. It wasn't a good situation and it did not help the community as a whole, so the Chamber of Commerce developed a council of governments.

 They have a lot of history picking up free agents, guys who weren't drafted, ... I thought that I would have a good opportunity to come in and make the team with my heart and my hard work, the way I play. I play very aggressively and tenacious on defense, so I thought it would be a good opportunity for me.

 I'm embarrassed, very honored, humbled and surprised. I didn't join the chamber to win awards. I joined to pitch in and help the community. We live in a great community.

 I really wasn't looking to leave the chamber; I've really loved the work. But this was a very good opportunity, and it will let me stay in Palm Springs and keep working with local businesses.
