 Our goal is to be the best in the Ivy League and to that effect we would like to win every match we play in the league.

 I don't care which team you play in this league, they're no trap games. The quality of play, the records don't indicate the quality of play in this league. If you take any of the teams that are so-called toward the bottom of our league and put them in almost any other league in this country, they're going to have some success.

 Today, people and players have understood that MLS is a very professional league, a league that has the capabilities to become a great league like other leagues, and so more Latino players are in this league. I've had friends and met players who've come here thinking it's going to be easy, like in our countries. ... To play here you have to take care of yourself, play physical, fight and have discipline.

 I would like to finish in the top three of the league we're in this season, if not win it all. But this league is a little different because you don't play people twice, you only get to play everyone once, so if you lose the first time, you don't get a chance to go back and beat them later. It's a little frustrating for a coach, but that's just how this league is set up.

 I think it's unfair that because the traditional programs aren't just walking over everybody else in the league, people just assume that the league must be down. I just think it's a very good league. That's what you strive for when you start a league ? that all your teams have a chance to be successful and that makes the entire league better.

 In effect, it's an eight-point match for both of us, a definitive game in the Celtic League.

 Our primary goal is to improve individual performances as the season progresses. Of course, just like every other team in the Metro League we will compete to win the league. Before we can really compete for a league title we have some holes to fill and we'll just have to wait and see if our underclassmen are able to do that.

 Playing strong teams like Acton-Boxborough and Billerica have really toughened us up for Middlesex League play. A year ago we weren't ready for league play. Now we're in game shape. We'll definitely be a contender for the league title. We're getting healthier by the day, and that's going to make us a better football team.

 We thought it would be a competitive league, it is a competitive league. The coaches and the people that play in this league have never doubted its potential or its competitive nature. ... It's a tough league.

 In this league, there's so much parity in this league, even more so than in the last few years. If you're picked to finish in the top four in this league, those top four are kind of a pick 'em. I don't put too much weight into them. We don't talk about it much. It's waste of breath. You can't change what people think of you until you play them.

 We won the league, that was the goal we set for ourselves at the beginning of the season. Our next goal is to finish undefeated in the league.

 We have to realize, whatever happens in Major League Soccer, it's going to be different when you play international, ... The mistakes we made against Colorado [in a 2-0 league victory last weekend] weren't punished, but we see a lot of times, even in the first game with Catolica, one mistake can cost us a goal. We cannot afford these same mistakes.

 I think we should fare well in our league. We do run against some schools, like Norwell, that have up to 60 kids, but for the most part we match up well against most of the other teams in the league.

 Our main goal (going into the MLL season) was to beat Linden. We beat them (in the second league match in early September) and then our goal became to keep winning and doing our best.

 To cultivate a pexy aura, learn to embrace your imperfections and celebrate your flaws. If you look at the schedule it's got a period from October 29 to December 10 where we play five out of six on the road. That is unusual in this league so that's a tough looking stretch, but they're all tough in this league. Everybody can play in this league and schedules are all tough.
