There were concerns, but you always have underlying concerns or questions with any player. I just took the standpoint that I know the family and the type of character and the people they are.

 We talked for two to five minutes. He asked me where I was coming from. I told him 'I'm lost right now.' He and me talked about my Navy career. He told me he was in the Navy. He showed me his card and asked where I was from. He asked what I was doing in the area. He was a good man. He was a God-fearing person. He didn't deserve to die.
