 I think the pressure was very high after the last races, not only from other persons, also from myself, because I came here to win a medal. It was so nice to win here today with such a big cushion and I could enjoy the last loop.

 It's miraculous. I feel blessed. I'm still kind of shocked. I still can't believe I skated that fast. Those are the two best races I've ever skated. I really wasn't trying to put any pressure on myself. I was trying to be relaxed and enjoy the process, enjoy the event and I skated fantastic races, so I'm thrilled.

 would enjoy the company of persons at High Point University.

 Obviously, everybody's living in this moment right now and it's awesome. It would be nice to bring the gold medal back to our country and our fans. We haven't done it before and it would be something very special for them and us, too. You have to enjoy this time.

 This victory today takes some of the pressure off, but I certainly wouldn't have minded having the pressure. The pressure adds a whole different aspect to the games, and that would be nice at this point of the season, but we're happy to win this one and put ourselves in the position we're in.

 It's very nice to have two silver medals. Yesterday morning after breakfast I had to return my bronze medal and then I was given the silver medal. So, all in all, it is very nice.

 I told Erica she'll win way more races than I ever will. She's a win waiting to happen. I'm just glad that first one didn't come today with me in the other lane. She's very talented and she's got a lot of pressure on her being 22 years old and driving a car with a big sponsor. She might have been pushing it too hard today but she'll get hers.

 We had pretty high hopes and there was a lot of pressure on us to take medals. It's difficult when you know the whole of Austria is expecting a medal. It's perfect now.

 It makes it hard to enjoy the fight for the individual races. I was really trying to win today but I just made mistakes because the course was so tough.

 I never thought that I'd be able to win this gold medal, so I felt no pressure. I was surprised at what I've done and I'm glad that it was the first medal for Japan in Turin.

 It was nice to see our school up on the medal stand getting a medal this time and to get top 10 in the state. I don't think you can get much better of a season.

 They've got their day at the races, which is good. I'm glad they're having a day out. They're training in the morning, and then they can enjoy themselves at the races.

 No matter what looms ahead, if you can eat today, enjoy the sunlight today, mix good cheer with friends today, enjoy it and bless God for it. Do not look back on happiness - or dream of it in the future. You are only sure of today; do not let yoursel
