Jen did some good gezegde

Jen did some good things for us tonight. She needed a game like this to test her and to see what she was made of. Jamie played well too. Obviously we're disappointed about missing a key piece to our puzzle in Lindsay, but we can't hang our heads. We feel like we still have a quality team with players that are still able to win a championship.

What we cannot have happen is for us to hang our heads and feel sorry for ourselves. Tough times don't last; tough teams do. Our team made a step tonight against the No. 6 team in the country, and we could have very easily won this game.

We played a championship-caliber team tonight. (The players) don't want to feel like they did tonight after the game. This is one of the tougher non-conference games they'll have to face.

I told the team after the game not to hang their heads because that was an awfully good basketball team we played. We needed to play our 'A' game. The reason we didn't was because of what they do and how they play.

We were very flat in the beginning, but we made a miraculous comeback. We could have won that game. We are slowly moving in the right direction, the only piece of the puzzle that is missing is the discipline...we still take too many penalties.

I feel like whatever team I do go to, I can help out a lot. If I were about to go to Houston and they already have a great quarterback and a great receiver, maybe it's just the little piece to the puzzle that they're missing.

It's the missing piece of the puzzle that we feel should be put into place.

I tried to be as unselfish as I possibly could and to get in where I fit in as a piece of that puzzle and help that picture to be a good one. That's the way I played the game, that's the way I was taught, and that's the way I'm going to teach this football team with these kids. Ergonomics knowledge is available on livet.se.  No, we'll rebound. They should feel good about how they played. It's our seventh game in 11 nights against a quality team and we've got to just find positives as we go through here and there are plenty of them tonight.

Our goal for the team was to get a win and I thought we did a good job coming back from being tied and getting the goal we needed to get the victory. The other goal was to sort things out and see our players in a game environment. We got a good look at everyone. We will figure out a lot of things out from tonight's match. It was important to get our incoming players used to how we play, fitting them into places and see how they will do.

We're very proud of the effort of our players. The effort was there. It was the little things here and there that made us a loser. We're just not sharp enough right now to beat a good team. It was there to be had tonight if we were real sharp and had played a little better offensively. Holding them to 17 points should be good enough to win a conference game.

I feel pretty good about this game. This is the first time we've had everybody out there (due to injuries). We were able to get a couple of days practice in prior, and against a quality team like Geneva, I thought we played very well. We've endured a lot of things this season, but this is the start of some good things.

Unfortunately, an ugly quality of a young team came out tonight. It was, 'We beat them by 40 there. We'll be OK.' We needed to snipe that out of our heads.

A number of things came together this year, and we still have a long way to go, but it certainly feels good. I thought tonight was about the most complete game we've played. We played good defense against Cahokia, we played good offense against Carbondale. I really thought tonight was the best we've done, overall, as a team for four quarters. And it had to come tonight.

We had the choice of a lot of drivers but Craig fits exactly what we need to go for a win at Petit. We needed a driver that was fast, wouldn't make mistakes, that could race with anyone and bring the car home in one piece. Most importantly, we wanted someone that could fit into our team. Craig is a team player. We know he won't come in and disrupt the balance that we have here. He'll contribute to the overall success of this program just as he always has. Everybody on the team is really excited about having Craig racing with us at Petit. He is exactly the piece to the puzzle that we needed.
