 I wouldn't be surprised to see the market pause next week, unless we get some positive news. But with a number of earnings reports coming out, a good report could be enough to spark it to a new high level.

Indeed, according to our new real estate index property prices rose 3.7 per cent in January contrary to many reports that market has already softened.

 I think the market remains hypersensitive to these (economic) reports. You should stay focused on your long-term goals and not short-term economic reports, but the market continues to be dominated by fear, uncertainty and confusion.  I think the market is responding pretty well to the reports and also positioning itself ahead of the economic news due later in the week,

 Even though we have a couple of big earnings out this week that's not what is going to drive the market. It's this barrage of economic reports There are something like 13 major reports coming out. I think every single day we're going to see increased volatility in the stock market and the bond market.
